Dancing With The Stars Brings the Magic with This Season’s “Disney Night”

Tonight was Disney Night on Dancing With The Stars, and through the inspiration of Disneyland Park, our dancing celebrities brought magic to the floor! With classic songs and modern renditions of old favorites, the performances were stunning. Check out their performances below, as well as a special performance of a new song from Frozen II.

Opening Number at Disneyland Park

Bruno called this performance “fun and joyful!” before he and the other judges awarded him scores of 7, bringing his total to 21.

Kate Flannery and Pasha Pashkov

“Spoonful of Sugar” – Mary Poppins

“You brought your own personal take on Mary Poppins and it took the cake!” – Bruno

All three judges gave this performance an 8, making Kate’s score a total of 24.

Eagle-eyed viewers could also spot Brian Baumgartner, the actor who starred with Kate in The Office as Kevin Malone, in the audience supporting his friend.

“You’ve Got a Friend In Me” – Toy Story 4

Len told Sean this was “A proper dance. Well done” with Carrie Ann calling it his “Best Dance.”

Carrie Ann gave it a 7, with Len and Bruno awarding a 6, making his total score a 19

Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber

 “Beauty and the Beast” – Beauty and the Beast (2017)

“1 ½ minutes of absolute happiness…every moment was 100%” – Bruno

Ally was awarded the first 9’s of the season by each judge, making her total score a 27.

Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko

 “Under the Sea” from The Little Mermaid

Lauren herself said “I felt like that was the perfect song choice for the samba because I felt like I was literally under the sea for 2 minutes.”

She was awarded two 8s and a 7, making her total 23 for the performance.

Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson

“We’re All in This Together” – High School Musical

Kel was told this was “a dance that really. Suited. YOU” with Carrie Ann saying that Kel “Lead that number like the champ that [he is]”

The judges awarded him two 9s and an 8 making his total 26.

Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten

“A Whole New World” from Aladdin (2019)

Carrie Ann called this performance simply “Stunning” before she awarded Hannah a 9 with the others giving an additional 9 as well as a 7 making her total 25 for the dance.

“It was dramatic, it was strong, with a touch of aggression about it” – Len

The judges awarded James two 9s and an 8 making his total score for the evening 26.

A Special Performance of “Into the Unknown” from Frozen II

New dancing pro Daniella performed with dancers the new song from Frozen II “Into the unknown” with Tom Bergeron reminding us that the new Frozen II soundtrack is available Nov 15.

After building up a bit of tension as they were running short on time, Tom quickly relieved everyone by saying that the entire cast was safe for the week because “nobody goes home on Disney Night!”
