The polar vortex is reeking havoc all over North America, and we know a certain ice queen who may be the one to blame. Ok, not really, but Elsa will be back in action very soon, as is evident by today’s gathering of the cast of Disney’s Frozen and the upcoming sequel.
Idina Menzel, the actress who voices Elsa, took to her Twitter account to give us a glimpse of the reunited cast (Josh Gad, Menzel, Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff) with the caption, “Just a little morning Arendellian love.” First off, I’m loving the term “Arendellian.” I’ll be using that in the future, for sure. Second, it’s exciting to see the cast back together in advance of the highly-anticipated sequel, which is scheduled to hit theaters later this year.
Aside from that, there’s not a whole lot to take away from this Tweet. Which is why we’ll jump over to Josh Gad’s tweet for some more Frozen excitement.
The image alone doesn’t give us much more, just the same cast members together again, holding a Sven plush. The interesting part is the caption Gad shared with the image: “Soon enough…”
What does that mean Josh? Certainly you can’t be referring to the November 22 premiere date for the film because, no Josh, no that’s not “soon enough.”
So is he referencing something else? Perhaps a trailer? This weekend is Superbowl Sunday, a prime spot to debut a trailer for a movie that will be as big as Frozen 2. Could that be what Gad is teasing? In all likelihood, we wouldn’t get an actual trailer for Frozen 2, but rather a teaser that doesn’t show us any of the movie. Still, could be something exciting coming “soon enough.”
And as if that wasn’t enough Disney excitement for one day, Tom Hanks also jumped on Twitter to share some Toy Story 4 insight.
Hanks has apparently finished recording lines for Woody in the upcoming Toy Story 4, which premieres in theaters June 21. He added the caption, “We rode like the wind, to infinity and beyond.” That sounds vaguely ominous. Don’t do this to me Tom. I can’t handle another Toy Story 3-like ending. Hopefully it was just an innocent tweet. Either way, I’m excited for Toy Story 4 as well.
