Yesterday, we visited the official grand opening of Disneyland Paris’ brand new Hotel New York – The Art Of Marvel. Featuring around 300 pieces from 95 international artists, this hotel is a must-do for any Marvel fans.
From the outside, the hotel is a brilliant take on modern New York architecture. Featuring a mirrored entrance sign and a stand-out red and grey colour scheme, it sets itself apart immediately.
Some of the highlights from inside include this trio of Iron Man Suits, a giant backlit mural in the lobby, and – of course – the many great pieces of Marvel Art.
We visited the Downtown Restaurant for a quick coffee before heading to the opening ceremony. Some of the first “official” guests to enter included President Natacha Rafalski, Ambassador Giona Prevete And Spiderman himself.
The hotel boutique is packed with Marvel goodies for everyone, and a huge range of exclusive Art Of Marvel merchandise. This includes pins, shirts, robes, mugs, lanyards, keyrings, perfume and statuettes.
The Cast Members were donning their brand new costumes, a sleek design with small details inspired by the New York skyline.
