According to Variety, acclaimed actress Emily Blunt will be boarding Disney’s Jungle Cruise project and star alongside Dwayne Johnson. Jaume Collet-Serra is set to direct the film and the most recent script draft was penned by Michael Green, who recently earned an Oscar nomination for his work on Logan. While few other details about the movie are available at this time, you may recall Johnson causing a bit of an uproar when he seemed to imply that changes would be coming to the Jungle Cruise attractions following the film’s release. In any case, this would be one of two upcoming Disney projects for Blunt who will also appear in Mary Poppins Returns.
