Why Lin-Manuel Miranda Doesn’t Want You to Listen to the “Mary Poppins Returns” Soundtrack…Yet

Although Disney’s hotly anticipated film Mary Poppins Returns won’t hit theatres until December 19th, the original soundtrack for the sequel was released today. And while your excitement might tempt you to boot Spotify and have a listen right now, as Alex warns in his review, you may encounter a few spoilers in that plan.

This dilemma has not gone unnoticed by one of the film’s stars (not to mention, recent Hollywood Walk of Fame star recipient) Lin-Manuel Miranda, who took to Twitter this morning to advise fans:
