As the holidays approach, Disney Channel is bringing a little extra magic to their programming with new stop-motion holiday interstitials featuring the “Sensational Six.” The new clips will start airing on Disney Junior this Saturday and will be filled with plenty of Disney surprises and Easter Eggs fans of all ages can enjoy.
What’s happening:
- Mickey Mouse and his pals: Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Pluto usher in the holiday cheer in new stop-motion on-air interstitials.
- These cute interstitials will begin rolling out on Saturday, November 30 (9:25 am EST), on Disney Junior, with subsequent airings on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.
- Disney shared a sneak peek at the fun coming to Disney Junior this holiday season:
About the clip:
- “'Tis the season! Mickey invites Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto to spend the holidays in a snowy log cabin! They discover a magical holiday bag that helps them decorate their place with holiday cheer!”
About the interstitials:
- A collaboration between Disney Junior and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, the interstitials find the sensational six celebrating the holidays together with a visit to a wintery cabin where they are met with the magic of the season.
- The interstitials contain Hidden Mickeys and nods to classic Disney cartoons, such as “Steamboat Willie” and Pinocchio, among many additional Easter Eggs for the eagle-eyed Disney fan.
- Mickey and friends can also be seen in Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures, which airs daily on Disney Channel, Disney Junior and DisneyNOW.
