TV Review: Disney Junior’s “Puppy Dog Pals”

Do you like animals? More specifically, the cutest, fluffiest, pugs in the world? Then you and your kids will love Disney Junior’s new series, Puppy Dog Pals!

Created by comedian Harlan Williams, follow Bingo and Rolly, two adorable pugs, on their adventures to always help their owner Bob (Harlan Williams) come up with new inventions for the two dogs, from keeping them entertained, to cleaning up after them. Even though they have a knack for getting into trouble, with the help of Bob’s inventions, and their kitty friend Hissy, Bingo and Rolly’s adventures are sure to be anything but extraordinary!

This show is absolutely adorable! As soon as we finished the pilot episode, my four-year-old daughter was determined to rename our dogs Bingo and Rolly, and begged to watch another episode. If you have a child that loves watching the shows on Disney Junior, they won’t be disappointed with this series. As a parent, I thoroughly enjoyed hearing familiar voices from some of the supporting, recurring characters, including Leslie David Baker (The Office), Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live), Tress MacNeille (Mickey and The Roadster Racers), Patrick Warburton (Family Guy) and Jack McBrayer (30 Rock), to only name a few.

Catch Puppy Dog Pals on Disney Junior or on the Disney Channel app. Grab a friend and tune in, because as Rolly and Bingo say “Life is more exciting with your best friend by your side!”
