Ray Park and Others Announced for Star Wars Celebration Chicago

StarWars.com has revealed more details about the upcoming Star Wars Celebration Chicago including new celebrity appearances. Along with meeting the many talented folks behind the characters, fans will also have the opportunity to attend gaming panels to learn about what’s coming later this year.

What’s happening:

  • Three additional celebrities have been announced for the highly anticipated Star Wars Celebration Chicago:
    • Ray Park
    • Matt Lanter
    • Tiya Sircar
  • Ray Park, who first introduced audiences to the acrobatic lightsaber skills of Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace and recently reprised the role for a surprise cameo in Solo: A Star Wars Story, is headed to Star Wars Celebration Chicago.
  • Park, who played the horn-headed menace who struck down Qui-Gon Jinn, will be on hand to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film where we met the fan-favorite character.
  • Matt Lanter, the voice of Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, is also headed to the Windy City.
  • Tiya Sircar, who played the artistic Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren in Star Wars Rebels, will be there, too.

Games, games, and more games:

  • Along with the plenty of chances to meet the creative minds and talent behind the beloved franchise, fans will also be among the first to experience new games.
  • During Star Wars Celebration Chicago, fans will get a first look at what’s coming next Star Wars video games.
  • In a special panel on Saturday, April 13, EA and Respawn will pull back the curtain on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
  • In this game, players will meet a Padawan who survived Order 66 and explore the galaxy in the time after the fall of the Jedi Order.
  • The discussion will feature never-before-released details ahead of the game’s fall 2019 release.
  • Beyond this exciting debut, fans can invade the exhibition floor to try out other games including:
    • Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes – a game of strategy, skill, and squad building
    • Star Wars Pinball – Zen Studios’ innovatively immersive take on an arcade classic.
  • Finally, Star Wars: The Old Republic, one of the longest running games set a thousand years before the rise of the Empire, will be hosting a special event with more details to come.
