Star Wars Series “The Book of Boba Fett” Set for December 29th Premiere on Disney+

Well, Star Wars fans, the wait is almost over. Disney+ has announced the December premiere date for the new original series, The Book of Boba Fett, starring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen.

What’s Happening:

  • Disney+ has announced that the new series The Book of Boba Fett will premiere on Wednesday, December 29th.
  • Disney surprised audiences last fall by teasing the upcoming series in a post-credits scene following the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian. 
  • The Book of Boba Fett will see Temuera Morrison reprising his role as the older version of the fan favorite bounty hunter alongside a new ally, Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen). Morrison first joined the Star Wars universe in the early 2000’s originating the role of Boba’s father, Jango Fett, in Attack of the Clones.  
  • Beyond announcing a premiere date for the series, Disney+ also debuted a poster showcasing Boba sitting on the throne that once belonged to Jabba the Hutt.
