Fox Searchlight Acquires World Rights to Wes Anderson’s “The French Dispatch”

Fox Searchlight has acquired the world rights to Wes Anderson’s newest film, The French Dispatch. The movie is expected to debut in 2020.

  • Deadline is reporting that Fox Searchlight has acquired the world rights to Wes Anderson’s upcoming film The French Dispatch.
  • Anderson will produce the film along with production company Indian Paintbrush.
  • The deal right deal was negotiated by Fox Searchlight’s Megan O’Brien, and Indian Paintbrush’s Gene Kang and Deborah Wettstein.
