Walt Disney World Swan Reserve Delayed Opening to Late September

The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve has announced a delayed opening of late September with a statement shared on their Facebook page.

What’s Happening:

  • Guests looking to stay at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve will have to wait a bit longer as the hotel has announced a delayed opening, moving to late September.

  • The new 14-story, 349-room hotel was scheduled to open later this summer as part of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin complex, but construction delays have pushed the opening.
  • Those who had previously made reservations will be contacted for alternative accommodations.

Statement from the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve:

  • “We are excited to announce the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is scheduled to open in late September.  After years in the making, we are thrilled to be nearing the reveal of this spectacular new option for our guests. Construction delays have shifted the opening from our original target date and any guests with reservations impacted by this delay will receive communication directly from the hotel for alternative accommodations within our resort complex. More details on the opening will be shared as they become available.”
