According to Deadline, Pixar has hired Stephany Folsom to write the script of Toy Story 4. While fairly new to the screenwriting scene, she did write a script that made a list of high-quality unproduced scripts and did uncredited work on Thor: Ragnarok.
She replaces Rashida Jones and Will McCormack who left the project after creative differences. Josh Cooley is set to direct the film after having replaced John Lasseter.
Toy Story 4 is scheduled for release on June 21, 2019
