The Disneyland Resort’s second gate celebrates the Golden State as only Disney can. Disney California Adventure first welcomes guests to Los Angeles as Walt discovered it himself. From there, you can traverse sights and locales inspired by California’s diverse landscapes, step into the world of Radiator Springs from Pixar’s “Cars,” and enjoy plenty of other Hollywood movie magic along the way. If you’ve never been to California Adventure or it’s been a few years, you’ll definitely want to venture across this esplanade and explore this one-of-a-kind park.
STORYTELLERS — As part of the newly unveiled entryway to Disney California Adventure park, “Storytellers,” a new bronze statue of a young Walt Disney and his most famous creation, Mickey Mouse, can be found where Carthay Circle meets Buena Vista Street. The stunning statue reflects the optimistic outlook of Walt Disney upon his arrival in California in 1923. (Paul Hiffmeyer/Disneyland Resort)
