With the addition of the ESPN name and technological improvements around the venue the ESPN Wide World of Sports seeks to bring athlete experiences to the next level. As events occur at the venue, clips and highlights will be available on the various HD screens throughout the sports complex (and perhaps on ESPN channels, broadband or cellphone)

Through the use of state of the art technology athletes competing at the ESPN Wide World of Sports will have the chance to experience their own Sportscenter type moment. The goal is bring the athlete an experience that is like "making the big time" to let the athlete walk in loving sports and walk out feeling that "sports loved them back"
