On our way to ICE!

The "Florida Fridge" at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center is kept at a chilly 9 degrees. Guests are provided with toasty warm parkas.

There are several types of ice that make up the various exhibits. The crystal clear is made of highly purified and very slowly frozen ice that is regularly circulated. There's also cloudy ice and colored ice.

To keep the ice sculptures in good condition throughout its presentation, they have provided a block at the beginning to touch.

This year's theme is "A Holiday Road Trip"
