For Parade enthusiasts, Macy's recreated the Gnome Balloon from the 1940's and early '50's as Kit & Charlie Elf. A family favorite, the Gnome first appeared in 1947, the same year of the Christmas film classic, "Miracle on 34th Street."

The elf stands at 34 feet high, 18.5 feet wide, and is filled with 2,100 cubic feet of helium.
