User ID: MrToadWildRider Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (9/22/2005)
Nothing great. Gave a 1. It's just a train often with a long wait. The few peaks at BTMR and Splash Mountain aren't that great either....
User ID: jillstanley Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (7/20/2005)
great scenery.
User ID: arcon Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (7/19/2005)

User ID: jriversjr Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (7/14/2005)
NEEDS WORK!!! not the some when I first went on in 1975.
User ID: brerduzzy Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (4/13/2005)
There are no grand canyon or dinosaur dioramas on this attraction which made it even harder for em to ride not to mention a few people who wouldnt move so i had to climb over them and go on to frontierland anyway no thanks to the lady and her friends who were too lazy to move
User ID: CharlieHayward Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/23/2005)
Very nice. However, like other rides of it's speed and nature, It seems that it is only meant for when you'd like to just chill out. Or if you're too lazy to walk to the different sections of the park, then this is for you. I've used this ride as a nice place to sit down with my family and chat about plans and whatnot. Very nice.
User ID: SpoiledTink Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/20/2005)
Loved it! It was a nice and relaxing ride, and a way to get out of the hot December sun (Canadian here! lol)
User ID: jsfra209 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/14/2005)
Alot of fun, but you get so tempted to get off one each stop.. Its really hard to resist
User ID: treeray Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/3/2005)
A must do when visiting the Magic Kingdom ... the whole family will enjoy this ride.
User ID: blanco Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (2/3/2005)
Great old-fashioned thrill. Great way to cool off. Great way to get to Frontierland and if you are clever Tomorrowland.
User ID: chanken417 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (1/1/2005)
THE best way to start your visit to MK
User ID: billpersky Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (12/24/2004)
The first ride we make. Love the train and the scenery. Really nice way to start the day at the Magic Kingdom, or the last thing isn't bad either.
User ID: thunderman Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (12/7/2004)
Great way to get off your feet and relax as you make a grand circle tour of the Magic Kingdom. The railroad provides any enjoyable ride around the park accompanyied by music and a narrator.
User ID: Brerwiseguy1967 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (11/10/2004)
I rode this Railroad and some lazy people sitting in front of me said that they would not move so I had to climb over them just to exit the train in frontierland since they werent getting off yet I recommend more stops too
User ID: magicmikey Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (9/26/2004)

A great way to see the whole park, and a good way to take a break from the large crowds on a hot day.
User ID: Coach Rick Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (5/15/2004)
A perfect way to relax, and still enjoy everything Disney
User ID: randahess Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (5/6/2004)
My kids love riding the train.
User ID: ridermage Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (4/30/2004)
Much more fun than most people give it credit for, and a great way to navigate the park.
User ID: gordonfan Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (4/27/2004)
Absolutely memorable, I can never picture disney world without it
User ID: chrisandginny Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (10/16/2003)
Lots of fun. The kids love and its a great way to tour the Magic Kingdom while resting your feet.
User ID: Minniemusician Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (8/30/2003)
Always love the train. Great way to return back to main Street especially after a long day of walking
User ID: nats Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (8/10/2003)
Very relaxing ride around the magic kingdom. Catchy tune the sing.
User ID: Brer Doug Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (7/1/2003)
I rode this ride one time and these wiseguys in front of me werent getting off in frontierland so i had to climb over them just to exit the ride too sheesh what a world
User ID: MickeyManiac Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/29/2003)
My family and I enjoy riding the train when we're exhausted from walking through the park. It let's you see a couple things you couldn't normally see, so take a spin!
User ID: Epcot82Guy Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/18/2003)
Classic ride. I just wish it had some of the scenes from before.
User ID: karina12345 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (6/6/2003)
it's sooo classic!!!!! jus love every minute of the time i look at it!!!!
User ID: Drcell01 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/6/2003)
Easiest way to get "around" the park!
User ID: miamimickey72 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (5/30/2003)
a break from walking...
User ID: GCRockerGrl Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (5/11/2003)
i personally think its pointless, because it is faster to walk from land to land. but it is a nice break on your feet. if you want to hit all the major rides in one day though, i wouldnt recommend it.
User ID: puddn7 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (4/28/2003)
We always look for alligators while behind Frontierland.
User ID: TDPruitt Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (4/19/2003)
One of my favorite ways to tour the park in a nice, relaxing train ride. Also, one of the last places to actually ride on a steam powered train. It is also one of the most long-lived and most endearing of Walt's interests to me.
User ID: jcarvalho Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/2/2003)
Good ride to cool off and rest your feet.
User ID: 080771 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (2/26/2003)
A great way to start your day on MK
User ID: Mickeygal123 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (2/25/2003)
its much better than walking and its great to just take a break and relax.
User ID: wegodisney Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (1/11/2003)
It is a nice break to put your feet up and enjoy a nice breeze.
User ID: DisneyBug Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (1/3/2003)
It's boring compared to Disneyland -- which features the Grand Canyon and Primeval World.
User ID: dottie Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (12/31/2002)
One of our favorites that we MUST ride every trip...
User ID: Disneygirl26 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (10/5/2002)
Kick up your feet and relax! A great way to get a cool breeze, not to mention it stops in my kids' fave lands! It beats walking by far. Be sure to get the WAlter E. Disney one! (It makes no difference, but it gives it a little more magic. Lily always wants to ride Lilly Belle though!)
User ID: Coronado Kid Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (9/15/2002)
The best way to see the whole park and the narration is great.
User ID: thebear53 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (7/15/2002)
Like the TTA in Tomorrowland this ride is great for taking a break and getting a nice tour of the park. The kids always want to go on it.
User ID: TimC Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (5/12/2002)
I personally love this ride. Its relaxing, rarely a line, and it really gives a decent look over the park.
User ID: purdyjw Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (4/10/2002)
A nice diversion, a good place to rest, but pay attention - there's plenty of that Disney humor scattered about the journey. Think Jungle Cruise, but on dry land and through the American Wild West.
User ID: shawnp0001 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/18/2002)
A relaxing break and a chance to view the outskirts of the park.
User ID: WildGrits Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/9/2002)
This is a great way to rest your feet and take in some sights while not being stuck inside.
User ID: seanpaune Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/1/2002)
A wonderful way to sit back and relax while still enjoying the ambiance fo a Disney attraction
User ID: 1313WEBFOOTWLK Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (2/20/2002)
Takes to much time away from touring.
User ID: cewait Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (2/18/2002)
Walt, a true train lover, would be proud. If you are in any way interested in steam trains, take the back stage tour of the trains.
User ID: trillium2002 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (2/11/2002)
A great way to relax, and take in the park from a crowdless point of view. The steam engine is beautiful!
User ID: goofy11_us Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (2/7/2002)
Real nice ride but not that interesting for me.
User ID: jalbright Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (2/2/2002)
More naration could be used.
User ID: balbright Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (2/2/2002)
A nice relaxing ride around the park.
User ID: Dear1023 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (3/28/2001)
Kids love going on the train. Great alternative to walking.
User ID: mtdagon Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/25/2001)
this one is "totally Disney"-classic all the way-love the campy indian village after Frontierland
User ID: Darth Macho Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/22/2001)
Very enjoyable, and not to be overlooked.
User ID: 11640 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/7/2001)
This ride is relaxing and a great way to get from point a to point b .
User ID: nelsonfran18 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/5/2001)
You can just ride that for half an hour take a breather and go on with the day!
User ID: shortikell Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/5/2001)
I love walking into the park and seeing the train and its station on Main Street.
User ID: charjean Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/5/2001)
A very pleasant way to see the park and take a trip back in time.
User ID: LAUGHERY Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/5/2001)
IT'S A NICE MID-DAY BREAK, OR POST-MEAL RIDE. THERE IS A LOT OF NICE SCENARY THROUGHOUT THE RIDE.
User ID: TP2000 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (1/4/2001)
I enjoyed the little Indian villages and scenes you view on this attraction. But, being a Disneylander, I sorely missed the Grand Canyon and Primeval World! The section of track from Toontown thru Tomorrowland and to Main Street is boring.
User ID: jubeys Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (1/3/2001)
the best
User ID: purplern Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (1/1/2001)
Nice way to get the lay of the land
User ID: SplashMT4E Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (12/31/2000)
Fun exciting ride for everyone. I love it when they say Now approaching Tommorrowland and you hear the steam go. I love DIsney!
User ID: lspangler Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (11/6/2000)
I go on the train every
trip.
User ID: MyGinger Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (11/6/2000)
It's one of the best attractions in the Magic Kingdom!!
User ID: hosewater Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (11/6/2000)
What a great way to tour the outskirts of the park! And a quick glimpse at Splash Mountain (ala Marc Davis)
User ID: Koolkid10 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (10/23/2000)
It was a great ride and more themed than I remembered from 1997 but I was only 7 then so I probably wasn't paying attention. Over all a 3 is good.
User ID: DisneyFans Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (7/23/2000)
This is a great place to be first thing in the morning RIGHT AFTER your breakfast with Cinderella in the castle. Although you don't see the entire park due to the train travelling thru wooded areas, it's a nice place to start your day!
User ID: rollerstan Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (6/26/2000)
To get away from all the commotion and non-stop moving of the day this is a great way to relax and take a breather!
User ID: cmraim Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/26/2000)
This ride gives you the feel of what a true steam engine felt like back in the days . I have to say it sounds like it would be a dumb ride but it adds to what disney is all about . When I say that I'm taking about its not just a commmon everyday park transit system . They made it a transit system with a theme.
User ID: PlutoPeep Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (6/26/2000)
Quite boring. An okay place to get to where you need to go. Other then that,
don't bother!!!!!
User ID: klingonken Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (6/26/2000)
The "Magic Behind the Steam Trains" tour on Thursday mornings is not to be missed by anyone that remotely likes trains. It really gives you an appreciation for what they are and what it takes to keep them running.
User ID: hartelmd Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (6/26/2000)
Definately needs more to look at...They should throw in some Robin Hood characters, and even some more Pocohantas out in the wilderness, and a few supprises here and there...How about a tunnel, where you emerge from the wilderness to toontown...
User ID: gagfactory Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/26/2000)
Being one who loves trains, I would give this a four. However, the canned spiel, especially the exceptionally loud "Colors of the Wind" segement took away the natural beauty and scenic vistas offrered by the trip.
User ID: Tink1894 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/26/2000)
I enjoyed it but not as much as Disneyland's. I too missed the Grand Canyon and dinosaurs.
User ID: RPK4444 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/26/2000)
This is about as American as apple pie. Do not miss this. Plus, it's usually the shortest line in the Magic Kingdom.
User ID: Futurist Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/26/2000)
Though this RailRoad has no dioramas to chug through, the stretch through Adventureland and Frontierland (which is longer than Disneyland's) is very enjoyable. Instead of staring at a berm immediately to your left....Walt Disney World's offers an "extension" of those lands. Those added vistas of wilderness (which seem to stretch forever) makes those lands so much grander.
User ID: m1ck8y Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/19/2000)
they could have more things like the indians and stuff during the begining of the ride. You exspect it.
User ID: ashermel Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (4/25/2000)
Needs more senic additions.
User ID: magic19 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (4/25/2000)
The most striking thing is how much open and undeveloped space there is around the Magic Kingdom...the train ride makes that ubundantly clear, and is in stark contrast to the tight confines of Disneyland.
User ID: ChipDale Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (4/25/2000)
Very enjoyable, but miss Thurl Ravenscroft's narration and the Grand Canyon/Primeval World. Prefer the intimacy of Disneyland's Railroad.
User ID: XxDisneyPBxX69 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/26/2000)
Great Way to cool off. One of My Favorite attractions in the Magic Kingdom.
User ID: ruggled Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (2/20/2000)
Great place to rest and see the whole park!
User ID: Jeremiah Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (2/5/2000)
Not a lot to see of the park but it is amazing to see what is just on the other side of the park.
User ID: DL-2000 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (1/8/2000)
Not as good as Disneyland's railroad, but still fun. When I went in '96, music from "Pocahontas" was piped in, ruining the mood.
User ID: TPA_RickWest Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (1/5/2000)
A wonderful way to "preview" the Magic Kingdom. Fewer stops than Disneyland's Railroad, but just as scenic, if not more so. A must for each visitor!
