User ID: ShaZAM Thrill: 1 Theme: 4 Overall: 3 (2/5/2008)It's that ride that you can't stand, but can't stand to skip either. A definite classic but obviously repetitive and annoying to some. No Thrill factor of course, but it's fun and silly entertainment.
User ID: rshaul Thrill: Unrated Theme: 3 Overall: 2 (1/6/2008)
Must do if you have kids, they just love the atmosphere and that annoying song, without kids just skip it. there are better things to do even at Fantasyland.
User ID: Stunnerr22 Thrill: 1 Theme: 3 Overall: 3 (12/28/2007)
Most seem to not like the song, but I find that to be the biggest appeal. EVERYONE knows that song!
User ID: danzin2it Thrill: 1 Theme: 3 Overall: 2 (5/22/2007)
Although the song drives me crazy, it is a classic and I ride it every time we go.
User ID: Tonichelle Thrill: 1 Theme: 3 Overall: 2 (4/20/2007)
Yes it is classic Disney - so I hope they never change it or get rid of it... but the song alone kills the joy for me! It will never ever leave your head!
User ID: GoofMan13 Thrill: 2 Theme: 4 Overall: 3 (12/20/2006)
Classic Disney Attraction
User ID: copperbottom19 Thrill: 1 Theme: 4 Overall: 3 (7/11/2006)
How is it so good? It has no reason to be this good.
User ID: halley123 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (12/9/2005)
The most annoying song in the world.
User ID: happyface Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (6/2/2005)
So happy it's open again.
User ID: gymkingirl69 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (4/4/2005)
This ride allows you to relax. The song can make you a little crazy, but that's why I love it.
User ID: SpoiledTink Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/20/2005)
As much as I get sick of hearing the same song over and over in my head after riding this attraction, the colours and the atmosphere keep me coming back for more.
User ID: roadrunner06479 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/13/2005)
I love "it's a small world"!! I helps children understand different cultres.
User ID: ne_faerie Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (9/24/2004)
I love it but i loved how you can tell its old my mom hadent been there since she was little and it brought her back a bunch of memories and the pirates of carribean is a 4 its the best out of everything, why isnt it to be rated?
User ID: Lampy Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (9/16/2004)
Dull and outdated - a great concept but I wish they would spice it up a bit as it's been realatively unchanged since it opened thirty years ago.
User ID: Disneylover06 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (7/14/2004)
I Love this ride and always rid it when in Disney world. The song can get a little annoying but the customs and dolls make it worth it. Kids will love the song and will be sing it all day but again it’s worth it. This ride holds childhood memories for me. A must do.
User ID: degrassi26 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (7/10/2004)
A wonderful ride that captures the true Walt Disney World experience! Take the time to experiece and appreaicta the different cultures, and see the childrens' eyes light up at the colorful costumes, playful scenery and amazing "magic."

User ID: Peter Sam Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (5/22/2004)
At first, I did not care much for this attraction, but upon looking deeper into it's origin and history (through books about the park's history), I have come to appreciate it a great deal more. Although I think the LA and Paris counterparts are much more appealing on the outside, I see no major contrasts with the WDW version. It is an enjoyable attraction, but don't be too put off by it's musical reputation. I personally didn't come out with the tune in my head, but it is cleverly varied a number of times throughout, so as not to loose your interest. Overall, do it for the 'Disney' experience!
User ID: ridermage Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (4/30/2004)
I want to like this ride, but I can't! I know it's a cliche, but after riding this, I can't get that theme song out of my head for days!
User ID: gordonfan Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (4/28/2004)
I found it boring, and our boat got stuck. Maybee it's because I'm a guy who likes action.
User ID: chrisandginny Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (10/16/2003)
My wife and kids love this one. We have to do it multiple times. Just admit that you like the song that won't leave your head. Always relaxing.
User ID: treelo Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (7/10/2003)
I haven't ridden on this in six years, but I remember the sound was lousy. I liked the way the water went all the way up to the set pieces, but this version is nowhere near as spectacular as the one at Disneyland.
User ID: krys143 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (7/10/2003)

You can't go to Diney World without riding this ride. It's the law. You have to get that silly song stuck in your head in order to complete the experience.

User ID: GCRockerGrl Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (5/11/2003)
you know its not a trip to disney w/o going on this ride, so why complain. just do it onle the first day you go there and get it over with. however, if you have a small child, bring earplugs! you will hav to endure about 10 rides on this ride lol.
User ID: buzzsdad Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (5/6/2003)
It's a world of laughter
A world of tears
It's a world of hopes
And a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all
There is just one moon
And one golden sun
And a smile means
Friendship to ev'ryone
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small, small world
ahhh music to my "Mouse" ears.
A classic this ride was moms fav. everytime we ride it I think of her. plus she always wants to see the video that we take of it.

Great ride. Why not in Epcot countires; but no matter where it's great. Just TRY, just even TRY to get that song out of you head after you ride it. Even thinking about it...it's a small, small world!
User ID: Horace Horsecollar Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (9/13/2002)
Hmm . . . It's Disneyland's Small World--Lite. And that may be a good thing.
User ID: TimC Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (5/12/2002)
Another classic. Has a certain charm that makes it all worth while. Theme can get annoying,
User ID: Super Phenom Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (4/26/2002)
Well it's a classic that needs to be ridden by anyone who has never been there, however if you ar a veteran than you can ride it if you want. It can be entertaining as far as being a ride, but the music gets annoying when the boats are all cluttered together and that's all you hear.
User ID: BuzzLightyear84 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/27/2002)
A childhood favorite of mine.
User ID: shawnp0001 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/19/2002)
The worst thing imaginable is to get your boat stuck here and be forced to listen to that tune repeated over and over...with that said, it is still a cute mainstay, and I would never visit the park without riding this once.
User ID: 1313WEBFOOTWLK Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (2/20/2002)
so sweet and pretty.
User ID: trillium2002 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (2/11/2002)
We just love this one so much! It's sort of inexplicable -- it's just a bunch of dolled-up Lego guys and loads of visual puns, but somehow it imparts such a glowing feeling of good will and unmarred sweetness! My hubby & me always go on it several times while we're there, and walk around singing the theme song for hours afterwards! By the way, did anyone notice the "So what the crap" sign on the way out (it's spelled out phonetically, to look like another of the "goodbye" signs in different languages)?
User ID: m1ck8y Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/30/2001)
this ride is famous for it's song and senery. A great ride for people of all ages. (as long as you don't mind the song:-)
User ID: Dear1023 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/28/2001)
A Disney must. My kids loved it. Be prepared to be singing the song for the rest of the day.
User ID: ninafeliz1 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/11/2001)
This ride may not be a thrill ride, but it is classic Disney that can't be skipped. There is usually little to no wait, and it's interesting to try to figure out what country the dolls represent. It it fairly long for the type of ride.

Florida is the Worst Small World. Tokyo and Paris are way better
User ID: gsvdave Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (3/4/2001)
Disneyland's Small World is much better, but the big Ferris Wheel got it higher than 1 for me.
User ID: luvinmickeyhouse Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (3/4/2001)
Good ride but well overdone. Great relief from the heat.
User ID: KevAct1 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (3/4/2001)
This is one ride I always tell myself I will not go on, and I end up going on it anyway. The one at Disneyland is way better, the outside facade, and the inside effects. WDW's is kinda, blah! It seems really out of place. It is long, and that song . . . Ahhhhhhhh! Unless you have real little kids, skip this one.
User ID: Garrett190 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (12/30/2000)
Not a big ride for the "thrill-factor", but just think of the Worlds Fair, and the impact this attraction had on all the other attractions that followed. Both @ DL & WDW =)
User ID: josesanzpr Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (12/30/2000)
my fantasyland's favorite ride
User ID: minnie1939 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (11/5/2000)
i remember the first time i went on this ride is was the year disneyland opened....my friend and i kept going on and on and on...now of course it is old hat, but that first impression was WOW
User ID: gagfactory Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (11/5/2000)
It's great for Disneyland's Fantasyland becouse they built around it to make it fit, but WDW's just sticks out like a sore thumb, wish it was at EPCOT instead!
User ID: rommelius21 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (11/5/2000)

User ID: goofyhouk Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (11/5/2000)
I vow not to go on it, but my daughter always wants to. The line is usually short, and it is a good ride to sit and rest. And I end up feeling good about life at the end.
User ID: kirbysloan Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (11/1/2000)
The most surprising thing about finally riding this famous ride was that the song was muffled and did NOT embed itself into the brain (leave that to the Carousel of Progress' Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!). They need to turn the volume up. The ride itself was nice and relaxing and cute. I had no trouble identifying each country represented.
User ID: DisneyFans Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (7/23/2000)
This the attraction that EVERYONE I know rates the best so I had to try it. It was FUN! My daughter really loved it. The best part about the ride is that it is long, indoors and AIR CONDITIONNED! We boarded the boat right around lunch time after a long morning in the heat! TRY IT!
User ID: Kendra Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (6/24/2000)
It would be great if you knew which country specifically each doll was from. Also, not enough of USA.
User ID: hartelmd Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/24/2000)
Although I have vowed never to go on it again, I must admit it is a cute classic. It's too bad the exterior from the DL version was scrapped for the boring, cheap, uninviting one here- makes it MUCH easier not to get sucked in!!...
User ID: RPK4444 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (6/24/2000)
Great attraction once for an adult (for life) but, kids will love it forever. But that song, "Will I ever get it out of my head?"
User ID: Phillip Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (6/24/2000)
This is horrible compared to Disneyland's superior version. The value of the DL exterior with its clock, multi-cultural facade and the outside canal cannot be understated. It sets the theme for the show inside, which has been renovated and brightened. The WDW version loading area is dark, creepy and warehouse-like. Same for the ride itself.
User ID: rollerstan Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/24/2000)
Never been to the DL one but I like the WDW version! It is a classic whether it can be boring for others or not. Kinda like the difference between Snow White and Lion King today. The Hawaiin gals and Eqyptians are my fav!
User ID: Fortune Red Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (6/24/2000)

User ID: purplern Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (6/24/2000)
I like it. It's cute and the dolls are beautiful.
User ID: Coop Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (6/24/2000)
Although lacking the exterior of DL's Small World, I believe the actual attraction is far superior to the version at Disneyland. Unlike Disneyland, you are not riding in a trough and the water extends through the entire attraction. Also, the WDW version is much mroe bright and airy compared to Disneyland's dark version. A Disney Classic and a "must see" for anyone visiting the Magic Kingdom.
User ID: Futurist Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/24/2000)
Though this version of It's A Small World lacks the beautiful exterior of the California version, I find it more superior in the effect the water line reaches out to the sets (Pirates of the Carribbean), instead of a water flume where you see all kinds of "backstage" junk which ruins the show. Also more superior in this version is more 3D sets instead of the 2D plywood cut-outs of Disneylands. Love the Grand Finale of a carnival with (again) 3D sets.
User ID: sir_cliff Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/3/2000)
It's a nice ride, but it took me three trips to actually like it!
User ID: movienut10 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (5/13/2000)
I only go on it because my wife forces me. WOULD THEY PLEASE TURN THAT STUPID SONG OFF!
User ID: koobar Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (4/23/2000)
what's with the UGLY color scheme?
User ID: ChipDale Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (4/23/2000)
Still a classic and I like it and ride it every time, BUT, it can't compare to Disneyland's wonderful exterior.
User ID: ToonKirby Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (4/23/2000)
I had grown up with the Disneyland version, so I was shocked when I saw the MK version .. it doesn't seem as special with the tent-like entrance. The ride itself is Nostalgic with a capital N .. it will never change, never go away, love it or hate it, there would be a definate void if it were gone. But that doesn't mean they can't clean it and overhaul the sound system once in awhile .. Also, wish they would do the Christmas show like in California too.
User ID: gac20 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (4/23/2000)
I stay far away from this ride. The song is like a bad virus. Once it gets in your head it may be weeks before you're finally rid of it.
User ID: Craigcc Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (4/23/2000)
The outside is boring compared to Small World at Disneyland, DP, or TD.
User ID: delimouse Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (4/23/2000)
It's cute and irreplaceable.Wonderful for small children who are often scared by the darker rides.
User ID: monorailblue Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (3/29/2000)
Just look at that horrible facade... I guess I'll just say I don't like very much at the Magic Kingdom, and this pretty much embodies that.
User ID: Guddy Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/22/2000)
Sure, it's dated. Sure, relative to other Disney attractions, it's pretty lame. But "it's a small world" is still a must see, because it contains the most sentimental value of any ride in WDW. Its nice to have some things stay the same every time. I agree, though, that it could use a new hi-fi sound system and some general sprucing up.
User ID: LaffnStock Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (3/12/2000)
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner: the WORST ride in the Magic Kingdom. The outside is boring. The inside is boring. The song, which is only bearable in D'land because you can actually make out the other languages. This is like those carnival rides that come in trailers. Pathetic.
User ID: Jeremiah Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (2/5/2000)
It's a small verison of the real one after all.... the ride its self it ok and MK found a way of making Walt's dream of water all around you come true but it is still just ok.
User ID: TP2000 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (1/27/2000)
A lackluster entrance and boarding area lead to a similar version of the Disneyland classic. The audio seemed way too muffled though, and the whole ride could stand a good cleaning. Although not as charming as the California version, it still holds it's own. Those with children shouldn't miss it.
User ID: NancyDVC Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (1/7/2000)
Okay I rate it higher for sentimental reasons My first Disney experience was at the NY World's Fair where this debuted. Go figure
User ID: TPA_RickWest Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (1/5/2000)
While similar to the Disneyland Classic, WDW's version of It's A Small World leaves a lot to be desired. The sound system is very dated, as is the soundtrack, making the ride difficult to hear and individual dolls hard to understand. The nice element is that the whole show building is flooded - unlike Disneyland's, where you can see over the flume to the ground where there are always power cords, step ladders and the like cluttered around in plain view. The strangest thing about Florida's attraction is that the world-famous facade is missing, leaving guests with a small, small entrance.
