Great for children but the adults can skip it and not miss a thing. Seating is not accomodating for plus sized guests.

Liked the ride better when it was on top of the PeopleMover. BRING BACK THE PEOPLEMOVER! The PeopleMover was a cool & relaxing ride when DL was packed.

This ride needs to be removed. It's blocking the entrance to Tomorrowland and doesn't fit in. It's just a bad reminder of the horrible, and failed, redo of 1998 (remember when they painted Space Mountain?!). Fortunately, most signs of that awful mess are gone...except for the Astro Orbiter. Bring back the old rockets. That was a way better ride.

Attention grabbing, to be sure, but you can easily skip this.

It was an ok ride

User ID: stitchbabe   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (8/30/2006)
Nice ride, but better when it was up higher.

User ID: indysoarin19   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (7/15/2006)
Too similar to Dumbo now and the wait times are horrendous for the style of ride. I've seen lines of 30 minutes for it while nearby Star Tours had a lesser wait!

I like it better than the old rocket jets but it's pretty tame.

User ID: Originator   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (5/22/2005)
Haha can you say joke?

User ID: Disneyland_Princess   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (7/28/2004)
A great ride! Its so much fun at night when the cool wind is blowing in your face.

I miss the old version of the ride...the one where you had to go in the elevator to get to it. it was soooo high and to me, that was the best part of the ride! you could see everything. this version of it's alright i suppose, i just wish they had made it as tall as it was back in the day when i was little.

User ID: CrayZforDisney   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (6/8/2003)
It is fast, high, and scary.

User ID: SpaceCadet-5281   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (12/28/2002)
This is a pretty ok ride. It looks like you don't really go very high from the ground, but from the rocket you really seem to be up there. It always freaks me out a little when you start to slant to the right when you go all the way up. While its not very fast, and it hardly gives any stomach twisters (as I like to call them), I would say this is one of the most thrilling rides in the park, simply because you are so high up!

The Rocket Jets was my absolute favorite attraction when I was about 5 years old. Now it seems to resemble. . . . .Hmm. . . . . .Dumbo maybe?

User ID: residentevil   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (8/22/2002)
the old one was better!

User ID: bassoon   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (4/4/2002)
This ride is just like dumbo, but a little faster and a shorter line. If you go low it feels like you go faster.

User ID: moredisneythanyou   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (4/4/2002)
its just dumbo in a rocket. the old one where you took and elevator up to the ride was much bettter

User ID: canyon blaster 21   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (3/27/2001)
Not that exciting. The old Rocket Jets on top of the People mover station was much better(and more scarier).

User ID: brer bear   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (3/3/2001)
It's okay. Very incomfortable seats!

User ID: chernabog78   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (11/11/2000)
on top of the people mover it was a #3, not anymore

User ID: cosette13   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (9/29/2000)
Around, and around, and around......ok you get the picture! Line too long on an uncrowded day!

User ID: DsnyFan4Eva   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (9/27/2000)
I liked it, but I have to admit, I liked the older versions better! Overall, it's a neat ride though!

User ID: BrigmanMT   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (9/20/2000)
They don't understand that the rockets this low are no more exciting than Dumbo.

User ID: akwolf   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (8/17/2000)
It's Dumbo... without character recognition. A nice (expensive) piece of scenery, but that's about it.

User ID: CHIEB2812   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (6/21/2000)
i love the music, gives a nice feeling inside

User ID: Theresa Ludwig   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (6/19/2000)
It was better when up high. Now that it is on ground level, it's just another Dumbo ride.

User ID: cfb403   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (6/17/2000)
when standing at the hub, everything is peaceful until you stare at this HUGE UGLY version of Dumbo! That wasn't the way Walt Designed the park, and the ride was funner when it was higher and faster.

User ID: Futurist   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (6/17/2000)
This carbon copy of the Orbitron from Disneyland Paris, is striking, better at night.... and fun to stare at while sitting down. However a lot of it's appeal was lost when it was brought down to ground level. In it's original position nearly 90 feet up in the air, you felt you were in a true rocket because you were flying at a high altitude. Now....it's no different than Dumbo.

Too heavy for the original position is my guess.

User ID: Eticket   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (5/14/2000)
To low to the ground liked it where it was before, might as well ride dumbo!

User ID: Torgo   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (4/27/2000)
Much more fun than I'd remembered it. Now, we ride it every time.

User ID: tad   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (4/12/2000)
They ruined this ride when they brought it down from the elevated platform that the Rocket Jets used to be on. Now it is just "Dumbo" with different cars...NOTHING ELSE!

User ID: Robbie   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (3/26/2000)
It's a good ride...but it's not worth anything over 30 minutes. Nevertheless, it's a thrilling ride.

User ID: Tigger   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (3/18/2000)
I love the centricical force!

User ID: TP2000   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (2/8/2000)
It's best looking at night, and easily something you could pass up on if you are over the age of 10.

User ID: Waterboy   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (1/21/2000)
Lots of fun for kids, Disneyland's newest version of this attraction places it at ground level at the entrance to Tomorrowland. When all the spheres work correctly, the attraction looks great, especially at night with the show lighting on. Upon closer observation however, it's easy to see how water was supposed to be in the trench under the rockets. You can tell just by looking at the lights and drains.

User ID: arizonawildcat   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (1/17/2000)
Actually more fun than you'd think. You do kind of get plastered to te left though.

User ID: damon63   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (1/16/2000)
Much more beautiful and striking than its predecessors. A lot was lost in ride however when it was brought back to earth.

User ID: disneyfreak4099   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (1/16/2000)
Too long a line for a short ride. Better when it was on platform over Tommorowland

User ID: Brer Rabbit   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (1/9/2000)
I don't think this ride is terrible, but I don't understand what was wrong with having the old rocketships that were the same but much much higher and hence much more fun.

User ID: DL-2000   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (1/8/2000)
Much more exciting than Dumbo, especially at night when the lights dazzle you.

User ID: glen   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (1/8/2000)
Terrible. Should have kept the rockets where they were above the Rocket Rod Queue...

User ID: ni_teach   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (1/6/2000)
If your kids love Dumbo they'll love this.

User ID: TPA_RickWest   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (1/4/2000)
It LOOKS very nice (when all moving parts are working), but offers less of a thrill than the Rocket Jets did, which were much higher over the Magic Kingdom. And I still say there should be water in the trough below the ride vehicles!
