The front row seats have a fence somewhat obstructing your view, you might want to be a bit further back to get a clearer view.

It is magic for your eyes and magic for your ears..it will stay with you for years and years...do not miss the show... get as close to the water as possible...bring a blanket and something soft to sit on..Disney will lite up your night.

I've been on this site for over 6 years and I haven't given it a rating yet? You just can't miss seeing it in person. Its also more fun to see it with someone else, lol not including your fellow audience members, hehe no. But it is a real treat, especially if you have a good seat! Right now I'm searching my heart out for other copies of the soundtrack for my Sister. I came across this familiar ol' stomping ground in the process and thought I'd add my thoughts. :) The soundtrack even is still great to listen to!

i really think Fantasmic is the best show ever produced at disneyland and pretty much anywhere else. i love the music, the effects and the animation. I am not sure there is any more magic or theatrical moment at disneyland than the Columbia's entrance.

Fabulous. We all loved it. We had excellent seats right by the water with the stage right in front of us. We didn't have wait long either. The trick is to hand around Pirates of the Caribean during the fireworks then move down to the waterfront after they're over. You'll be seated about 10 and the show starts at 10:30.

Im Staying at the Californian Hotel at the Disneyland Resort and I just saw the 9:00p.m. performance of Fantasmic. I LOVE THIS SHOW!! It has to be the best show at Disneyland. I wish they made more shows like this. As a matter of fact we are going to try to get back into Disneyland with our annual passes to see the 11:30pm performace!! I LOVE IT!!!

whenever i see this show i cry i love it so much its my favorite thing ever!!!! this is the best show in teh world, NOTHING at disneyland beats this show, if you ask the men in yellow shirts where to sit they will help you. They said me and my friends could sit in teh VIP section because no one showed up for it over the SUMMER too, so ask tehm they are very very very helpful!!

ºoº This show is nothing short of AMAZING. It is the one event @ DL that really, REALLY leaves amazing memories and is magical in that special disney way. Don't miss it -- it is SPECTACULAR. There are so many good things to say about this. Be sure to get there 1 hour early, to get to the front row. Bring snacks!! I loved this show as a younger kid, and I love it now as a teenager. My mom loves it, too. ºoº

Very worth seeing. If you choose to go on rides instead of see Fantasmic for any reason, you are making a big mistake. Sit down hours early, bring a book, eat dinner there. It is worth it.

If you don't do anything else at Disneyland, you have to see Fantasmic! It is fabulous. I haven't seen it since '94, but I'm still talking about it. We are looking forward to seeing it again this year.

Incredible! Amazing! To me, the balcony seats (and the pampering that comes with them) were well worth the $41 (December, 2000). Even if the dessert buffet is not in your budget, don't miss this spectacular! I get chills just listening to the soundtrack.

This is truly the best show in all of Disneyland. I see it again and again and never get tired of it, and don't even mind waiting several hours for a good seat. However, a word of advice to thoes who are thinking about forking over the big bucks to sit in the VIP seats up in the Gallery ... save your money and wait a little longer to be closer to the action. While the desserts up there are in line with the Blue Bayou's and Club 33's (complete with tuxedoed hosts), if you are unlucky enough to be assigned to the back row, you'll either be standing through the show or staring at somebody's back. Even in the front row though, the fence is sometimes bothersome, and I really missed seeing all the detail that you just can't capture from so far away. But if you've got the money and don't want to wait for seats, then you might want to try it once just for fun. It's still going to be a great show!

The show after all these years, still run chills up & down our spines. Mesmerizing. Although, there is no comparison between the WDW and DL shows. WDW needs more work and has skimped on their props. WDW gets a 2-from this family. DL gets a 4+. We still highly recommend at both locations.

A family favorite! Always love the Pirate battle, the Princesses dancing, and the legion of villains who try to control Mickey, but fail due to his powerful imagination. The opening with the colored light fountains and the walls of water that show "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" are also incredible.

Very pretty to look at and always full of action. Great costumes, special effects, and set. I love the Princess Barges that carry the ballroom dancing couples across the lagoon. In all, it's the essence of Disney and it's magic.

So wonderful! I love it. My very favorite part is near the end, when the Mark Twain rounds the corner filled with so many Disney characters...and the black & white "Steamboat Willie" Mickey at the wheel. Every time I see that, I get teary-eyed. I love the CD with Fantasmic's soundtrack along with the MSEP. What a deal!

Still a great show after 8 seasons, going on 9! Glad that Disneyland still spends the money for this one.

A great way to get seats for the show is to arrive 20 minutes after the first show began by entering through Adventureland. Wait for the show to end and move into the seats while everyone is leaving.
