Upon your first step into the queue of this attraction, you'll step back in time to another era as you await your journey through the jungle. This experience always makes me feel nostalgic and the bonus is no two rides are exactly alike. This is one of the many things that makes Disneyland so special. Fun jokes, a large variety of creatures (skippers included) and the backside of water are just some of the reasons not to miss this adventure.

Each guide has his own style and jokes, so this is a great ride to do multiple times.

My favorite ride in the park. I always ride at least three times. A good skipper can make this one linger in your head all day. As a fan of this kind of humor I just love it. the jokes never fail to slay me. This ride rocks but some still take it for "granite"

If you can get on in 15 minutes or less, it's worth the wait, if not, it turns into the "Jungle Snooze"..if you are a firstimer at DL a must ride(nighttime is best/jokes seem better in the dark)if not, get a Chicken Skewer at Bengal BBQ and move on.

I myself am an animal person, so this ride rocks my socks! So to speak. The tour guides are hilarious, good thing I went on that ride once, because I knew I would eventually memorize what they said! But I like the new additions to the ride, really awesome!

The Jungle Cruise has been updated for the 50th anniversary. There are several new scenes and many of the old classics. If you have not been on the attraction for a while you should check it out.

i love this ride mainly because i fell in love with one of the skippers. but i also love this ride because it has something for everyone. my campers loved it, i loved it. just don't wear yellow shirts. too many banana jokes!

One of Disney's BEST! It's not a trip to DL if you don't go on the Jungle Cruise. I like how the tour guides do JOKES now instead of the tour (the back side of water, ~hehe~). It was getting a little old. I rode it at night for the first time this Aug. and it's a totally different experience.

i love going on this ride. i made my brother go on it last time and he really didn't want to. he said it was boring, but he hadn't been on it for years so i talked him into it. well, our boat got going and the guys speaker went out! we were in the back of the boat and couldn't hear anything. wish me luck on convincing him to ever ride it again, he doesn't know what he's missing.
it's a very amusing ride..good for some comic relief!

I used to consider this one of my favs... but the continious "auditions for the Tonight Show" have torn the experience wAyyyyyy down. Cant we come back to some balance of humor and excietment? When you act like "all these critters are plastic" it makes one feel like "WHY am I paying to see this?" Bring back some balance...some feeling that it is a rEAL jungle...and THEN add some wise-cracks!

It does make a difference when you have a guide that really has fun with it. Can't stand the ones that just say the lines. So if it wasn't good the first time, go on it again! It's different every time.

I love this ride, but always disliked the capguns used with the hippos, not for political incorrectness, just because the sound annoys me. The ride has been gun-free for quite a while now and I'm once again a happy cruiser.

I'm a sucker for kitchy cheesy fun. The jokes the guides tell have the guests react with groans and snickers and the animatronics are creepy and jerky. (Are the natives dancing or have epileptic fits?)
Politically incorrect, outdated, But I have to admit I like it. Hey it is as close to the jungle as I want to go anyway!
The best part? No need for insect repellant of malaria shots!

Great ride especially for the 3-10 catergory. I wish they would put back the charging rhinos of the early 60's. People say this ride is boring, i think disney should make more creatures that pop out when riders least expect it.

This attraction's exterior and interior need desperate restoration and improvment right away along with the revamp/redesign/renovation of the Jungle Cruise "Adventure"...

Fun, quirky, and nostalgic without being schlocky (though we could lose the natives' war dance and maybe have something friendlier); a treat at any time. My favorite voyage remains 2 a.m. on New Year's Day, however, featuring the famous "Poor Man's Fantasmic." Say hi to Jungle Maynard for me!

The Jungle Cruise boat ride in Disneyland rocked!!! It was hilarious our skipper was this guy I am not quite sure of his name: Sandiego, I believe it was. He did not only do the narration but also made my little sister feel like a princess.

One of the most unique Attractions in the world...a true "Walt Disney" classic. And because the skippers are 50% of the experience...(to me, anyway) they can take those stail old lines ..and freshen them up with their own vitality/personalities.

I give it a "3" rating...but if they'd do a grand finale with a temple scene similar to what WDW's has ....then I'd give this venerable gem a 4.

As a Jungle Cruise Skipper... I think that this ride is awesome exactly the way it is. As for interesting Skippers... we are all good it is the riders who make us bad. So next time you visit Disneyland laugh at the jokes more and maybe you will find that they were really funny all along.

Some of the scenery from the 1950's and 60's needs an update desperately, but the ride still thrills and amuses. The WDW has a few better scenes or effects, but the Skippers are vastly superior in California in my experience. A trip on the Jungle Cruise at night with a good Skipper can provide Disneyland memories to last a lifetime.

Dry with a bad skipper, the best show in the park with a good one. A true example of what Walt meant when he said "showmanship." Ah, those skippers. They can weigh up to 2000 pounds and jump over 50 feet. Isn't that amazing.

I'm still laughing about the last time I went on.
I can't remember who the skipper was, but he was hillarious at night!
He did the Fantasmic show at night on the Falls.
He also had something going on with the lights. He yelled, "PARTY", started making music, and truned the lights on and off!
It was unforgetable!

Probably the best time to go on Jungle Cruise is in the evening! The skippers are so much more "interactive" with the few suckers...i mean sailors! As the official Jungle Cruise Cheerleaders,
JungleCruzer and I have a few recommendations for anyone looking for really good skippers. Try Whitney, Maynard, Joey, and Danny as a start! And in two years you can see us working there!

well i would like to give it a 3.4 but since this system only allows 1,2,3, or 4's 3 will do just fine. I like this ride it's great espesially for bringing your kids on. I really wish they would re-do the show, and get rid of the jokes and try and make it exciting again. Although i do enjoy the ever corny jokes!

Oh it's all about the jungle cruise! It's the perfect blend of the slightly cheesy animatronics and the awesome (still slightly cheesy) improv that the live people do. it dosen't get much better that the jungle cruise at disneyland!

I love the jungle cruise! its so fake, but so fun! the best trip i had on it was once when the skipper was like ok, who thinks the skipper should go down with the boat? i raised my hand, and being the only one she continued, ok everyone, if the boat sinks this young lady will be the new skipper. oh, well, this is the best for a relaxing trip!

Always a favorite in my book. Combination of funny pilots and well- designed animatronics make for an attraction with repeatability built right in. Note that this is one of the ORIGINAL attractions, and it still has a queue on almost every day it is operating! A Timeless classic!

When you get a creative skipper this is one of the best rides in the whole park...when you get skipper who tells you all the same jokes you have already heard with no enthusiasum it is one of the most boring rides in the park. Luckily for us I've been seeing a rise in creativity on the skippers part!

The Jungle Cruise is a Disneyland Classic. A great attraction with the Marc Davis touch! Wonderful scenes, animation and laughs abound in this lush jungle adventure. Plus, you get to see the backside of water! Hey now!
