I love Pirates of the Carribean...It was my favorite ride as a kid and when i ride it now it somewhat takes me back to my childhood and all the visits to Disneyland as a kid.

definaely one of the most brilliant rides ever attempted at a theme park. i wasn't sure i would like the enhancements, but i think the jack sparrow additons turned out extemeley well, while keeping the overall feel of the ride.

I went on this ride twice last time I went to Disneyland. It is definately a family tradition. You can't help but sing along to the "Yo Ho Yo Ho, a pirate's life for me" song. The first part of the ride I got completely soaked! I know, I didn't expect it either! I was in the back seat on the far left, I took all the water and I had a blast! Defiantely make a point to visit this ride any time of day, I've never seen the wait more than 25 minutes for this one!

Just got back home from our trip yesterday, and I am fighting the withdrawls now... This ride was wonderful !! No one took pictures this time, allowing all of us to enjoy the ride. We used the fastpass and went right on... while others stood in line for an hour... PEOPLE... USE THE FASTPASSES !!!! They are worth it !!

This is truly a Disneyland Tradition for us.... it is a fun ride and I especially love the fact that it is cool inside.... when it is hot outside!!! One drawback.... when we rode it summer of 2003, some moron kept taking pictures inside(with a REALLY obnoxious FLASH), even after being told repeatedly NOT TO. People like that need to stay home and let the rest of us , who obey the rules ride in peace... We love Disneyland !!

I've got fond memories of this ride: arguing (fruitlessly) with my parents, saying "Those people over there (in the restaurant) are real, not animatrons!" My parents don't believe me, though it's mostly teasing now. Also big in memory: the entire choir at my school singing what little we knew of the song and screaming our heads off on the drops; and the Fastpass fiasco on said trip; the ride kept breaking down, and it stayed broken through our Fastpass time! The CM were nice though, they let us on later anyway. Definitely a ride to not miss when going to the park!

This has allways been my favorite ride, since I was 6. I live in Utah, so I don't get to go out to CA much. But when I do I make sure to go to Disneyland and ride Pirates at least 4 times. It's the best! If you haven't been on this ride, you haven't experienced Disneyland!

As you can tell by my user name, I absolutely LOVE Pirates of the Caribbean. In my opinion, it's the greatest ride ever built anywhere. I tend to ride it at least 3 times every day I'm at the park, and I usually go every couple years for 3-5 days. That's at least 9 trips on POTC and each one keeps getting better and better. Lots of people complained about the "PC Conversion" of the ride, but I think it's better for it. They took out the pirates chasing women and added a new, darker ending. I love everything about this ride, even the way it smells. OK, I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean you can't love POTC, too.

The best ride ever made, in the best place ever created, Disneyland! This ride is a great dark ride. Though it is long, there is always something to look at. I will never get bored of this. It's not really one of my favorites, but it is an excellent ride, especially when your worn out and just want to take a breather. My grandma LOVES the ride, and always has. Haha it cracks me up :)

The typical summer day line for this ride used to extend all the way back to the area between it and Tarzan. Fastpass has really helped. I almost miss hearing the queue music and smelling the Blue Bayou during our wait!

One of the best attractions in the park, I personally feel that the older you get the more you enjoy this attraction for some reason, seeing these familiar characters you recognize as a child. The atmosphere of the attraction is jaw dropping, it's hard to imagine this ride is almost three and a half decades young. Fun to be had for all!

I have been enthralled with Pirates of the Caribbean since I first saw it on "The Wonderful World of Disney" in the 60's. Best attraction in the park, despite the passage of thirty plus years. One of the things I like about the DL version is the sense of journey, from the Louisiana Bayou through the sea grottoes to a Caribbean island - the Orlando and Paris versions take place on the Caribbean Island throughout. I'd like to see the superior animatronics of the Paris version brought to Anahiem, including the excellent sword-fencing scene.

Next to htd msn, this is the best ride!!! i love how its all historical, and it has a cool story, and the fact that its not fake, at all. and its not just a fast ride with no real plot or anything. its one of the greatest ride built.

You can't say you've been to Disneyland if you don't go on Pirates! WDW regulars should ride the longer and lusher Disneyland version with caution because it may ruin their future rides at WDW's vastly inferior Pirates version.

The most visually stunning ride in the park, Pirates has been able to stand the test of time. The recent rehab added more magic, in particular, the soldiers of the fort, finally added after over 30 years.

Hands down the best ride ever made. Forget the "exciting" unimaginative rides they have over at six flags, a real ride has a realistic setting, and a good story. Pirates has these two nailed, as well as every other good ride aspect possible.

Hands-down the BEST Disney attraction ever. The final to be supervised by Walt Disney before his death, Pirates is a stunning accomplishment of the theme park industry that most companies strive to meet even today. A tribute to Marc Davis and the rest of the WED crew, Pirates is a timeless classic that only gets better with the years!
