All the great songs from one of the best Disney movies ever, another winner show for the Studios.

This is a great show. Also a great place to rest your tired feet
User ID: oneyepete Thrill: 3 Theme: 3 Overall: 4 (8/28/2007)
It would be nice to have this in Disneyland.
User ID: howulivin19 Thrill: 2 Theme: 3 Overall: 3 (8/28/2007)
Thought it was entertaining, and a good time to relax!

Great show! It is definitely worth seeing at least once.
User ID: DefyingGravityKing06 Thrill: 3 Theme: 4 Overall: 4 (3/5/2006)
This broadway-styled adaptation, like the film itself, is sheer brilliance beyond believe for the past fifeteen years in the running.

This was an awesome show. I loved it.
User ID: spoiltrotten12 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (12/5/2005)
It was brilliant in August 2005 when i went with my husband and 1 year old daughter
User ID: spoiltrotten12 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (12/5/2005)
Fantastic!
User ID: Le_Poof Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (8/30/2005)
It's okay if you have some time to kill before Fantasmic starts. I went in '97 and then in 2000 and I swear they still haven't changed the entire cast. Scary.

Ensemble did not have mics and weren't able to dance. Belle couldn't sing at all. The prince was only slightly better.
User ID: dlrVIP Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (1/20/2005)
That is when beauty and the beast was at disneyland in the 90's to be more accurate
User ID: dlrVIP Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (1/20/2005)
this show is nothing compared to the run of beauty and the beast at disneyland in Fantasyland Theatre. However its still ok
User ID: whopper65 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (5/4/2004)
Very disappointed in this production. The prince looked and acted more feminine than Beauty, and couldn't sing either. Quality is not there.
User ID: Iluvwaltdis Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (4/29/2004)
Awesome, once again. This time, Gaston was much better than the last. Much more believable. Also, those were his real muscles!!!
User ID: chrisandginny Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (10/17/2003)
A very good show for the whole family! Fun music and characters! However the best part might have been the pre-show!
User ID: The Ghost Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (7/18/2003)
Loved the show. Very well done show filled with the Magic we love so much.
User ID: Linda1633 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (7/4/2003)
This is the best live show
I have ever seen at a Disney theme park.
User ID: Disneyholic Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (7/4/2003)
Really Fantastic. Broadway quality. What you would expect from Disney!

I love the "Mob Song" sequence. Gives me chills everytime!!!
User ID: Mickeygal123 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (2/25/2003)
Loved it when i was a kid and i dont have time to watch it as a young adult, but if you have little kids, i would take them to this show.
User ID: Dsnygal12 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (11/30/2002)
it was pretty good. I really liked the people who performed before the show started
User ID: roadrunner06479 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (9/8/2002)
4 for atleast a teen who's loved Belle forever. Great performance, and with miniamal, yet talented, cast.
User ID: Yse325 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (8/5/2002)
the Hunchback show is much better.
User ID: shawnp0001 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/20/2002)
This is an absolutely great show. The music and acting is superb.
User ID: Futurist Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (2/23/2002)
Rating:3
It's been 7 years, but I remember the production values of this version of the stage show that was once at DL to be top notch. Memorable songs help make this an entertaining pleasure for any visit.
User ID: 1313WEBFOOTWLK Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (2/21/2002)
Above average stage-show. Worth seeing if you have the time.
User ID: Bandersnatch Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (4/18/2001)
I loved this show before they redesigned it...and now it's even better. Everything's been reedone, ligting, soundsystem, scenery, choreography, costumes and script. It follows the movie' order now and Belle is onstage during "Be Our Guest". But the best new part is the re-written Transformation...completely new and so much better than before...
Add that to a cast who can just flat out dance and you have a very well-spent 30 minutes. Don't miss it....
User ID: Kristus Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/28/2001)
I just saw the show again yesterday and for those of you who complain the musical numbers where out of order and hard to follow if you haven't seen the movie, That's old news. After they filmed the Rosie O'Donnell Show there they completely re-did the show and even though I loved the old one this is much better it all in sequence with some added songs and diolouge. So even if you've seen it before it's a whole new show and worth seeing again.
User ID: ninafeliz1 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/15/2001)
Very similar to watching the dance scenes from the movie, but it was very well done on stage. You could skip this if you didn't like the movie, or of you don't have time for everything.
User ID: Kristus Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (3/14/2001)
Personaly I really like this show. I have seen the show many times and never get tired of it. I would reccomend that people who haven't seen it should and form their own oppinion.
User ID: jillb17 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/3/2001)
I really like this show. I think the music in "Beauty and the Beast" is so good that even if the costumes and dancing aren't that great, just listening to the music and songs is really good.
User ID: bairdbeth Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (1/19/2001)
It had Belle! What more would a 4 year old Disney Princess fan want?
User ID: Morning_Sun Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (12/29/2000)
I would have liked it to have more acting and spoken parts. Very good if you don't compare it to the broadway version
User ID: thestargirl Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (11/4/2000)
Cheesy costumes--and my sister got heat stroke while waiting due to the poorly planned crowd flow system and lack of awning. Maybe it's improved since then, but it is not Disney's best show by far.
User ID: gsvdave Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (11/4/2000)
I enjoyed the Disneyland production much more. I also feel the Hunchback show was much better and more creative.
User ID: RBennett Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (6/22/2000)
Subpar compared to Disneyland's version.
I was disappointed.
User ID: Disneybrad Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (6/22/2000)
The Worst of the Disney/MGM stage shows.
Hutchback, Little Mermaid, even Doug Live are better.
User ID: UnclPumbaa Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (6/22/2000)
As W.D.W. stage shows go, MGM's Beauty & the Beast is average. Not nearly as good as the Disneyland version. See MGM's Hunchback and Little Mermaid first. If you have time or are a big fan of the Disney film, you may wish to check it out.
User ID: Futurist Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/22/2000)
Even though it's missing some of the touches Disneyland's version had a few years ago, it's very colorful....and has some show elements the California version didn't have. Not to be missed!
User ID: Coop Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/22/2000)
Okay, the costumes are cheesy, but this is Disney :-) The Disneyland version had some far superior touches... the moviing background when the mob is marching, and the final tranformation where the beast was RAISED into the air. Too bad they didn't bring the Disneyland version to WDW, when it finished it's run in California. Still a good show.
User ID: vtfan Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (6/5/2000)
Best park stage show I've seen, anywhere
User ID: ToonKirby Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (4/21/2000)
Fortunately, I saw the Disneyland version years ago, which was by FAR superior than this one. That show made me cry, this one just makes me cringe.
Do not like that they shuffled the order of the songs around ("Be Our Guest" is first) and what's up with that GOOFY "bat ballet"? WHO'S idea was that? And the part where the villagers starting PUNCHING Lumiere, Mrs Potts, Chip & Cogsworth is REALLY BIZARRE .. This came out several years ago, prior to the far superior "Hunchback" and "Lion King" shows, which have come so much farther in recreating the movies on stage without resorting to big clunky costumes and prerecorded songs .. although I'm pretty sure that Belle and Gaston sing live. Best thing about the show is at the end when all the dancers come out, holding candlelabres and waltzing to "Beauty & the Beast". Thank god for Alan Menken and Howard Ashman.
It would be nice if they could replace this show with something newer (I would LOVE to see "Animazement" there), but it's a real popular show for the Studios, believe it or not, so who knows? I do know that the proposed Disney-MGM Studios Christmas Spectacular would be performed in this theater, so hopefully no one will complain that it's replacing B&B and they'll reliaze that no one will miss it ???
User ID: Jennifer8 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (4/21/2000)
I was suprised this was a Disney production. The singing was not very good. The acting was not well done. To top it off, the special effects were horrible! I usually LOVE live theatre...Go see Hunchback. :)
User ID: dwbazemore Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (4/21/2000)
Go see anything again before you see this at all. One of the pooriest productions yet for a Disney park.
User ID: Galapagos Jim Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (4/21/2000)
The show itself was unimpressive, but the pre-show was great. Four guys, dressed as maintenance workers were setting up microphones on the stage. One started doing a sound test. He got into it so much that he started singing. The head guy (you could tell because he was holding a clipboard) told him to stop, but eventually all four got into the act, singing doo-wop and Disney songs. This "impromptu" performance was a delight.
User ID: JungleSkipper Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (4/21/2000)
Yikes! This was pretty bad when I saw it last May. What's up with those cheesy orange capes and that "Bat Ballet"? I'd heard about the fab special effects in the Broadway version, so you'd think they would have sprung for something more than a 1,2 switcheroo to transform the Beast into the Prince. If you have small children, it's worth the 25 minutes, but otherwise it's pretty cheesy.
User ID: tweedle jason Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (4/21/2000)
Although it seems much more popular than the Hunchback show also in the Studios, this one just isn't as good. They use highlights songs of the movie and it is hard to understand any kind of plot without already having seen the film.
User ID: delimouse Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (4/21/2000)
This show is wonderful. It's an animated fairy tale come to life.I love it!
User ID: LaffnStock Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (3/12/2000)
Dreadful. Everything is taped. People running around in clock costumes is extremely cheesy. Doesn't compare at all well to other staged shows in WDW like Hunchback or Lion King.
User ID: Jeremiah Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (2/5/2000)
O.K. show not the best I have seen but good. If you have not seen the movie it is hard to follow.
