I thought seeing the backstage area was rather interesting. Something you don't normally get to do at the parks unless you pay for a tour.

The train ride was the best part. Lots to learn but my feet are killing me by now.

Don't miss this treasure..the hidden Mickeys are amazing.

There's not much to do there, but at least it's air conditioned.

A good place that may just educate kids without their realising it.

Petting goats is not the most exciting thing, but the trainer's bring out some interesting animals.

One of the better petting zoos I've seen. You get to brush the goats. Also a good place to catch the characters for pictures.

It's an interesting side trip. DO NOT vists late in the day as the train is held to allow all vistors time to reboard for the trip back to the front of the park.

Perhaps I should have been bored, but
after spending 20 minutes watching a
frog (really) I realized that there
is an amazing amount to see here
if you're willing to take the time to
relax and enjoy. If Dinosaur is
you're favorite AK ride, this will
probably not do it for you. The theming of
the train ride needs work, though.

Very impressed on real atmosphere of the station, but saw many of chilled, boaring faces in retuned trains.

I loved the hidden Mickey's all over the place.

This is definately not a thrill, but it is interesting to see. This place is where the sick or injured animals are cared for. There is also a station where you can control cameras sitated throughout the animal's habitat and see things which you may not see on Kilimanjaro Safari.

An enjoyable attraction that was perfect for taking up time while waiting for our fastpass time on the Safari.

Nice but could use some work.

Age group really doesnt apply here I believe this attraction is enjoyable and educational for all.

Only interesting for people who want to learn more about conservation ... and who wants to do that when they are at Walt Disney World? Needs rehab so that the "educational message" is delivered with a little more entertainment value.

To be truthful, it was a
a little boring, expessially
that dumb train ride! I
wouldn't MISS it, but I sure
wouldn't do it again!

Could have more unique animals than chickens, goats and pigs at the petting zoo!! -whats next dogs and cats? And how about some immagination or creativity on that boring train ride??!!

Ohter than the hidden mickey's in the mural in the lobby this attraction needs some major reworking.

Not the most exciting exhibit Disney has, but with educational attractions like this, it's only as exciting as you want it to be. My parents and I, for example, fell asleep in the "Sounds of the Rainforest" room. It was so relaxing!

The castmember that we met showed us the many hidden Mickeys on the Wall of Choices. It made our visit a lot of fun. We got to meet "Poca" as they called her, and I liked those booths where you go in and listen to all of the sounds. I really liked the place.

I wanted to see more stuff, and do more things, but alas, they didn't have anything more to offer. It just doesn't have enough stuff.

User ID: dwbazemore   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (4/14/2000)
not worth the long wait of getting there nor trying to get out! The exibit is not worth seeing if you see anything at all. I would not go back until I have seen everything four or five times and only if you were trying to kill a lot of time!!

User ID: magic19   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (4/14/2000)
Should be better. Could be far more exotic if the train took you to some 'foreign locale' and did not show you backstage activity. Its still possible to get the conservation message across, just in a less utilitarian way.

User ID: LaffnStock   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (3/12/2000)
The train ride is toooo loooong. And Conservation Station does not live up to Disney's hype. "Exotic Animal Petting Zoo?" Since when are goats exotic?

User ID: Jeremiah   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (2/5/2000)
Great trip, nice to see the back of everything and see how the magic is done.

User ID: NancyDVC   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (1/7/2000)
Lots of informative things to do. We saw a cheetah getting a physical. Good learning experience

User ID: Greaseman   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (1/6/2000)
The ride to the Conservation Station is disappointingly unscenic -- it takes you through a very utilitarian section of the park. A couple of the exhibits at the Station were interesting, but it wasn't worth the wait.
