I've enjoyed the Maya Grill on my two visits, but it doesn't come up to the level of many other table service restaurants at WDW and it is a bit pricey.

We visited Disney World on the Dining Plan in 2007 and really enjoyed Maya Grill. Just got back from the World on the Free Dining Plan. How could there be such a difference in one year's time? Maya Grill was horrible and that is putting it nicely. The menu had "shoulder steak this and shoulder steak that." Shoulder, should have been a tip off. Tough, chewy and all over the limited menu. A Disney employee tried to give us a friendly warning but the waitress assured us it was a delious, tender cut of meat. She lied. We believe Disney got a deal on old army boots. I'm inclined to believe the limited, subpar menu was due to the fact that during this time period the Dining Plan was free. Coincidence, I wonder. Three of the five restaurants we visited had changed, limited menus.
