During major sporting events (like the World Cup in 2006), the ESPN zone is a fun and exciting place to be. My wife really likes the excitement of the ESPN Club even though she is not usually interested in sports. The quality and quantity and price of the food served is very reasonable for WDW and especially the Boardwalk area. During busy times, seating for families or groups can be a problem so call ahead and make a reservation. Couples will usually be pulled in ahead of larger parties in the queue (which is outside but under a canopy) but, as a couple, we have still waited for nearly an hour. It is possible to miss an event if you do not have a reservation or try and drop in at the last minute because, once people are seated for a game, they'll stay to watch even though they are done eating unlike most restaurants where there is a fairly steady ebb and flow. Service can be slow when the place is busy or if your meal is during a shift change but the staff has always been friendly and cheerful. During stormy weather the place can get packed and self service seating in the bar area can become very congested. We've given up trying to find a seat during more than one thunderstorm. When we are at the Boardwalk, we'll eat at the ESPN Club more than any other restaurant.
