This place was better before merging menus with the separate restaurant downstairs. Or perhaps it was a change of chef. In any case recent adventures here have not been as fantastic as culinary adventures several years back were. Still French food has that special flair. I miss the dessert one used to have to order at the beginning of the meal "Chocolat Coolante" if my memory serves. The lesser substitutes since then have never reached that same mark. Unless the merger was undone, this restaurant and the one below, Les Chefs de France, both serve more or less the same lesser menu, merged from the grand menus in days gone by.
