Disneyland's 45th Anniversary - Pin Trading

As part of the 45th anniversary celebration, The Disneyland Resort has introduced a new Pin Trading Program. Pin trading officially began on February 13th. Each month, the resort will unveil approximately 12 new pins--retailing for $6 and $10. As guests purchase pins, they can then collect and trade then with Cast Members wearing lanyards and other guests. Designated pin trading locations are:

• Fantasy Faire in Fantasyland
• Main Street Cart in Town Square
• Frontierland Cart
• Tinker Bell's Treasures at the Disneyland Hotel

The full pin assortment can be purchased at the Emporium on Main Street or the Star Trader in Tomorrowland.

New: Disneyland has announced a new pin program beginning in April. Guests making a new purchase $15 or more in pins will receive a free Disneyland "Mini-Pin" (one per transaction) representing one of the highlights of Disneyland. A new Mini-Pin will be released, in limited quantities, on the first Sunday of every month, April through December, 2000. Each of the nine "free with purchase" pins will be available only while supplies last. Pin purchasers who spend $15 or more for collectible pins will also received a feww, full-color, pin collector's map of Disneyland on which to place their special Disneyland mini-pins.

Note: Disneyland's DelivEARS mail order service is currently not accepting orders for pins to insure they will be available in the park.
