Reminder: Toy Story Mania Sneak Peek for Walt Disney World Passholders May 10 - 12 Walt Disney World Passholders are invited to experience Toy Story Mania! - a brand-new attraction inspired by Disney-Pixar's Toy Story films - during a sneak peek Saturday, May 10 through Monday, May 12. To be admitted you will need present your valid Walt Disney World Annual Pass and photo id. This event is during the preview period so the attraction may experience downtimes during these days. Cincinnati Pops Celebrates Disney This Weekend

Mickey logos in the sky

Ft. Wilderness movie schedule updated
We've updated our schedule of Ft. Wilderness movies at Walt Disney World with May's listings. Every night a Disney movie is shown under the stars at Fort Wilderness. There is no admission and you do not have to be a guest at Fort Wilderness to attend. Before the movie a sing-a-long is held with a live guitarist and Chip 'n' Dale. There's also a camp fire and the fixings for smores can be purchased. Other snacks are also available for purchase. Click here for May's schedule.

Orlando Runner Heather King Wins Disney's Women Run for the World 15K
Heather King (Orlando, Fla.) won the Disney’s Women Run the World 15K on Sunday during the Third Annual Disney’s Minnie Marathon Weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Fla. Running in her first 15K race, King was hardly challenged during the 9.3 mile course as she posted a time of 1:00:49 to win by nearly two minutes. Cheryl Edwards (Avon, Conn.) crossed the line in second with a time of 1:02:37 and Courtney Phillips (Jacksonville, Fla.) finished third at 1:02:46. In the Master’s division, Sue O’Malley (Port Orange, Fla.) won in a time of 1:04:20 followed by Maureen Powers (Kissimmee, Fla.) at 1:08:27.

First Ever Disney Children’s Fund Awards Granted to Children’s Organizations in Hong Kong
During the celebration to mark the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland’s newest attraction, “it’s a small world,” The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) today announced the recipients of the first grants from the Disney Children’s Fund. Created by TWDC’s Worldwide Outreach group, the HK$1 million Fund was established as part of a pilot program to address the needs of children in the Hong Kong community.
