Briefly returning to the stage Chairman Staggs reminded guests that the Points of Light Institute was initially announced at EPCOT and announces that the over 115,000 cans of food in the "world's largest canned food sculpture" will be transported to food banks in Atlanta, Miami and Central Florida.

Ty Pennington has worked with a lot of volunteers and explained that not only are others helped by volunteer by many times the volunteer themself is helped in ways they didn't imagine. Ty discussed the recent season of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. He offered thanks and congratulations to the invited volunteer families for the difference they have made in their communities and asked them to encourage their friends to join in those efforts.
