Continuing our trek our guide Mark finds a crocodile skull. Along with guide Meghan they explain a bit about crocodiles found in the Nile region offering tips on how you can figure out their length just by looking at the skull.

Entering a second hippo overlook we had the opportunity to view the sunning hippo. The tour group estimated we were 10 - 15 ft from the enormous animal. We could view the hairs on his neck, and studied the whiskers on his face.
