In a morning ceremony Epcot celebrated the return of the "Golden Dream". Until it was damaged in 2004 during Hurricane Charley the "Golden Dream" was anchored along the American Gardens Theater. The "Golden Dream" is a replica of a Virginia Sloop - a ship used for trading and features a flat deck to hold large amounts of supplies. The ship has been restored and will return to its home on the World Showcase Lagoon.

The ship "Golden Dream" is named after the finale song of the American Adventure written by Randy Bright and Bob Moline. Bob Moline also wrote the song for the Epcot film O Canada! as well as Epcot's tune Listen to the Land.
