In a morning ceremony Epcot celebrated the return of the "Golden Dream". Until it was damaged in 2004 during Hurricane Charley the "Golden Dream" was anchored along the American Gardens Theater. The "Golden Dream" is a replica of a Virginia Sloop - a ship used for trading and features a flat deck to hold large amounts of supplies. The ship has been restored and will return to its home on the World Showcase Lagoon.
