Disneyland's 45th Birthday - July 17, 2000

Main Street was filled near the Coke Corner with hundreds of Disneyland guests including numerous guests in their NFFC Convention t-shirts assembled for this week's convention. Also on hand were cast members and media all assembled to officially wish Disneyland a happy 45th birthday. The College Band entertained everyone with their playing before the events officially began.

At 8:00 a.m. the band began playing Walking Right Down the Middle of Main Street, USA as the Disneyland Ambassador Team of Doina Roman-Osborn and Eddie Garcia stepped on to the stage.

Roman-Osborn: Well good morning everyone and on behalf of the Disneyland Resort, we would like to welcome all of you to this very special 45th birthday celebration. My name is Doina Roman-Osborn.
Garcia: And my name is Eddie Garcia. Together as the Disneyland Resort Ambassador Team we are proud to represent the resort and all the Cast Members that make the magic.
