Welcome the December 5th Disneyland Update. The big news this week is Disneyland has resumed round-trip operation of the Monorail allowing all new views (and pictures) of Disney's California Adventure (DCA). This Disneyland Update focuses on the new views of DCA as well as some unique angles of Downtown Disney, a look at the new rooms at the Disneyland Hotel, new holiday stuff and much more - more than 100 pictures in all, most available in high resolution.

Attractions currently or soon closed for refurbishment include:

• Rocket Rods - Reopens Spring 2001
• Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin - Closed until further notice

Upcoming Events and Special Notes

The new Disneyland Resort annual passport

• Disneyland has announced the availability of a 2-Park Annual Passport that will be good at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. The new passports are on sale now. Click here for more details.
• An after 4:00 p.m. holiday pass is now available. The price is $49 for adults and $39 for children 3-9. The price includes a full day's admission to Disneyland on the day of purchase and admission to Disneyland after 4:00 p.m. each day until December 22nd except Saturdays and November 23 and 24th.
• Some details of 2001 Vacation Packages at Disneyland have been released including some information on ticketing for Disney's California Adventure. Click here for that story.
