Toon Talk: Disney Film and Video Reviews by Toon Kirby has been well received so far:
I agree with your review of "Lady and the Tramp
II". However, I don't think adults are the target audience for these productions.
Children love these direct to video releases. While I wouldn't buy most of these, they do
provide a good rental option. I would prefer Disney entertainment to be family
entertainment, but I can live with these direct to video sequels; if only so I don't have
to watch "Rugrats". Keep up the good work.

Henry". Doobie made a great decision asking (or deciding) to let you have a column. I

Rick West's review of Disney's California Adventure continues to receive feedback:
I honestly think Disney execs have succumbed to competing
with Universal Studios and the other big theme parks. What is horrifying is they are
stooping to their level rather than maintaining the Disney grandeur. Evidently they have
lost Walt's vision and decline has set in. I think that is what DCA is, don't you? How is
DCA to attract out of state tourists?? I'm from upsate New York and have no interest in
DCA at all. I'll continue to visit WDW and hope they don't screw that up.

I recently previewed DCA in the few previous days to it
opening. I am a Disney Fan personally and professionally and think they did a great job.
I'm on the East Coast and its tough to sell Disneyland as a stand alone. I think they did
Disney proud and for some who don't have the time to visit the state of California can get
a glimpse in a day and want to come back for more. California Soarin' is an awesome,
beautiful way to make visitors want to come back not only to Disneyland and DCA but to see
more of California. Isn't that what they hoped for too? On the East Coast Disney not only
promotes Disney, but Southern California and all it has to offer outside of Anaheim. Sure,
they want you to go to their parks and resorts, but they are a good ambassador to
California also. I enjoy your site, but as you said, its your opinion. And this is mine.
