Rebecca Herbst meets a young fan
The crowds were well-behaved and not impossibly huge, so if you really want some face time with your favorite star, there are still three weekends left:
- August 10 will feature Jacklyn Zeman, who plays Bobbie Spencer on General Hospital, and who crowed over the restaurant setting at the opening: "This is just like eating lunch on the set! I can't believe I'm eating at the Nurses' Station!" (Those wacky X-Rays, by the way, are the Imagineers who worked on the restaurant. How that one guy did that with the vacuum cleaner, I'll never know, but I'd really like to meet him.) Tamara Braun, the "new" Carly Corinthos on General Hospital, Julie Pinson, who is Dr. Eve Lambert on Port Charles, and Thorsten "Torso" Kaye, who is Patrick Thornhart's brother Ian, and Dr. Eve's significant other on Port Charles.
- August 17th will have Wally Kurth, who plays Ned Ashton on General Hospital, Nancy Lee Grahn, Alexis Davis on General Hospital, Kelly Monaco, Livvie Locke on Port Charles, and Brian Presley, Jack Ramsey on Port Charles.
- August 20th will have Marisa Ramirez, the whiny Gia Campbell on General Hospital, Coltin Scott, who plays Lucky's half-brother, the brooding Nikolas Cassidine on General Hospital, Erin Hershey, Alison Barrington on Port Charles, and Kiko Ellsworth, who is Jamal Woods on Port Charles. But no Vampire dude, dang it.
At 4:30 every Friday during Star-Studded Fridays, the stars will appear in the Hyperion Theatre for a Question and Answer session. I missed last Friday's, but will give you a report from this week's session. If you want to go Daytime Stargazing at DCA, be sure to be there by 10:30 A.M. The autograph sessions are 90 minutes long, so space is somewhat limited.
