Speaking of production - on the nothing ventured, nothing gained side - I was again amazed that there was no supporting merchandise for this event. Now, it seems to me that a dated limited edition 1,000 75 Mickeys Auction logo button or cloisonne pin would have sold out very easily - a dated logo t-shirt could easily have been offered included in the registration information - after all we do it all the time at the NFFC's National Conventions and we have a much smaller staff to get the job done. I still don't understand how such an opportunity can go unmet - the art is already there and there is a captive audience. Maybe it's me - but, a 100+% return on any merchandise investment can't be all bad. I can only hope that such items are being produced for the upcoming Tower of Terror event - if they're not - they should be. We're called collectors for a reason.
