My own pilots' certificate, signed by the Commodore himself!
As we rounded the last curve and could see the beginning of the port, I sounded the whistle again twice. I was then asked if I would sign the Captain's log, on a short table behind the wheel. I added my name and address to the many guests from all over the country who had proceeded me. I was rewarded with a pilots certificate. Disney himself used to sign these in the early days of the park, right up to his death. I thought that was great, one of the personal touches that separates Disneyland from the rest of the theme park pack.
