This Weekend
3 big films come out this weekend, and finally audiences have some decent films to watch.

First up is Miracle which reunites Dexter Reilly to Walt Disney Pictures! YAY! Critically the film has gotten good reviews and it's patriotic/sports theme should hit well with audiences. While it's not likely to open with a huge first weekend, Miracle should open with about $28.6 million and continue with steady earnings for a while.

Barbershop 2 is it's strongest competitor being, obviously, a sequel to the original hit Barbershop. With an already established audience and good reviews Barbershop 2 should cut up about $26.3 million dollars.

Catch That Kid will pick up some of the younger viewers who might not be interested in Miracle's more dramatic storyline. It should collect around $9.5 million.

With added competition for it's audience from Barbershop 2, You Got Served should plummet about 57% to $7 million.

Butterfly Effect and Along Came Polly will fall about 40% and 38% with both bringing about $5.8 million.

Return of the King should fall about 25% and pick up $4 million.

Win a Date with Tad Hamilton , Big Fish and Mystic River should all pick up about $3 million.

I must admit last weekend I got all the new releases completely wrong. In fact it was my worst weekend ever. I will not excuse my stupidity, but I do hope that it will not happen again (at least not to that extent).
