With a sigh of relief Al says, "Boy, are we glad you're here Mickey!" Paul asks, "Do you think you can help us bring in the celebration?" Mickey responds enthusiastically, "Why sure! Just leave it to me fellow, giggle. Okay everybody. Are you ready? Then, here we go...10..9..8.."the audience continues to countdown with Mickey
"3..2..1..It's time to celebrate!"
Mickey stands in front of the great fountain facing Spaceship Earth with his back to the onlookers. He conducts the beautiful waters as the music builds into a crescendo and fireworks begin to light up the sky and the 2000 icon is illuminated.
To conclude the ceremony, Al, Mickey and Paul join hands as Paul declares, "Let's Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand!"
