At 7:00 p.m., with all the guests dressed appropriately for the occassion, the herald announced the royal proclamation inviting us all into the ballroom. A live orchestra played A Dream is A Wish as the entering guests located their table.

The table's centerpiece was a Walt Disney Classic Collectible Cinderella's Coach. Each seat had a menu card sealed within a small envelope. At the bottom of the menu was a pillow if the pillow had a glass slipper you got to take the centerpiece home. A small garden salad was the first course accompanied by a selection of breads.

Cynthia Harriss welcomed the gathered crowd and introduced the Paul Phillips the Vice President of the Walt Disney Art Classics.

Phillips announced that at this special event the Walt Disney Classics Collection's Cinderella scene was making its public debut.

Next Harriss and Phillips discussed Disney animator and Imagineer Marc Davis who was scheduled to attend the event but pased away in mid-January. They discussed the contributions made by Marc Davis not only to Cinderella but to Disneyland and the world of fine art and introduced a video montage about Davis.
