Merchandise
For its 45th Anniversary Disneyland has a map for sale that guests can take around the various locations throughout the park to get stamps. Click here for more details on this program or click here for details on Disneyland's other 45th anniversary merchandise programs. Below is a report from one of our readers, originally posted on our Discussion Boards.

Howdy, folks! The Park began its anniversary "map quest" today, where you buy the reproduction of a late 50's Sam McKim map of the Park, just the way you might remember from your first visit way back when. Good news - the map is huge, regular size, and folded in a packet for only $9.95! The design is also on tee shirts and note cards at the Disneyana store.

Not just for pin collectors, but really anyone who loves Disneyland, this is a great promo! There are five booths, in each original "land", where you get a section of the map stamped (not on the original design, thank you!) After completion, you "redeem" at Disneyana or the Gallery for a great pin of the "Disneyland scroll" art from the map, and a button. And, for passholders who wait til the 10-12th or 17-19th, you will also get a pin of the whole map - FANTASTIC! Not to mention the "stamping" booths, which are wonderful kiosks commemorating lost attractions - except in the case of Fantasyland, which is at the original site of the "mad tea party" = hmm, I would have picked the Chicken of the Sea Pirate ship!

Interestingly, the stamps themselves represent the original "land logos" familiar from the TV show opening in the mid 50's as well as Park merchandise - with the exceptio nof Main Street"
