A DISNEY CHRISTMAS
my apologies to Clement Clarke Moore
'Twas 8 weeks before Christmas, when we
started our chore.
Seven rooms were transforming. Twenty trees? May need more...
The closets were opened, tabletops were all cleared.
Trees were erected as December neared.
The boxes were stacked 6 feet high on the stairs,
waiting to unpack Mickeys and Donalds, and yes even Pooh bears.
Above every door, green garlands were hung,
on which a few dozen white light bulbs were strung.
As every day passed, the mess got much
bigger.
Stuff all over the floor, should we hire a digger?
The Disney Christmas collection started back
in '74,
What started quite slowly expanded into way more.
Every piece has been cataloged, every item logged twice (hard drive crash)
We know where we bought it and even the price.
Disney is quite our obsession de jour
I've delayed long enough, let's get on with the tour!
