The audience seemed to enjoy the show with some noticible reactions during certain sections:
- Genie's entrance was received with applause and his opening monologue received lots of laughs
- Friend Like Me drew spontaneous applause towards the end
- During Prince Ali, as the procession as passed by each section, that section would break into applause.
- A Whole New World brought gasps when the carpet appeared.
