Crowned everything from the “next Julie Andrews” to “Golden Globe nominee”, Adams’ star-making performance as Giselle, the toon waif who becomes a real woman, left audiences, well, Enchanted.
And let’s not forget …
Only the writer/director behind such contemporary classics as The Iron Giant and The Incredibles could take a story about a rat in a kitchen and make the audience cheer for the rodent. With Ratatouille, could another Oscar be in his future? We think so.

As the two leads in Bridge to Terabithia, Hutcherson and Robb delivered the right amounts of realism and imagination to their roles, marking them as ones to watch in the future. Special mention to their cutie-patootie co-star Bailee Madison as well.
And if the Annies can’t recognize a great performance, the Toonies will:
In a career spanning over 50 years, O’Toole has created many memorable characters, from Lawrence of Arabia to King Henry II to Alan Swann. He can now add Anton Ego, the appropriately named, razor-penned food critic of Ratatouille, to that list.
What was the best Disney music of 2007? First off …
Ranging from the Grease-ian “What Time is It?” to the Annette Funicello-esque “Humuhumunukunukuapua'a” to the Beach Blanket Bingo-ness of “All for One”, this best selling soundtrack album was absolutely “Fabulous”. You can “Bet On It”.
And what toon tune is destined to become a Disney classic?

Talk about a showstopper: this Alan Menken/Stephen Schwartz song, performed by Amy Adams and all of Central Park, is not only winning in itself, its winning accolades, including nominations from the Golden Globes and the Critics’ Choice Awards.
