Milial Resort Hotels Co., Ltd. announced that the new Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, the third Disney Hotel in Tokyo Disney Resort, will open on Tuesday, July 8, 2008. The new hotel will mark its grand opening during the Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary celebrations.

Tokyo Disney Resort will kick off its 25th Anniversary on April 15, 2008. Starting on this day, the entire Resort will come together as one to host the Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary special event, a yearlong extravaganza under the slogan of "Unlock Your Dreams." Through a variety of programs and entertainment now under development for this very special year, Tokyo Disney Resort will provide guests with the keys to "unlocking," or realizing, the dreams that they’ve always had in their hearts.

Art Stevens, Veteran Disney Animator / Filmmaker Co-Directed "The Rescuers" and "The Fox and the Hound" During 44-Year Career at the Studio, Dies at 92 - (DL) (6/28/2007)
Art Stevens, a veteran Disney animator and filmmaker who co-produced and co-directed “The Fox and the Hound,” and co-directed “The Rescuers” during his illustrious 44-year career at the Studio, passed away on May 22nd at his home in Studio City, California after suffering a heart attack in his rose garden. He was 92-years old.

Disney's High School Musical: The Ice Tour Heats Up with Announcement of Principal Cast - (DL) (6/27/2007)
Feld Entertainment announced the skaters that will perform the lead roles in High School Musical: The Ice Tour.  The show will premiere in New York on September 29th and its four casts will tour locations across the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Australia, and Europe.

Disneyland Resort Joins the Festival of Arts Opening Day Celebrations to Debut a Special Exhibition - (DL) (6/22/2007)
The Disneyland Resort and the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts are joining forces for a special exhibit that runs from July 1st through August 31st(closed July 4 and August 25) entitled "Dream, Imagine, Create: The Art of Disney Parks".  The exhibit will premiere on Sunday, July 1 with a ceremony at 10:30 and 12:30 that will feature Festival of Arts President Anita Mangels and Mickey Mouse.

Exclusive Event with Disney Book Group's 'Tale Spinners' With Radio Disney at the Union Square Barnes & Noble Harry Potter Midnight Magic Costume Party on July 20 - (DL) (6/21/2007)
Manhattan's Union Square Barnes & Noble will host "Tale Spinners" with Radio Disney. Five hours of live entertainment will feature appearances, discussions, and signings by Disney Book Group's bestselling children's fantasy authors. The event will be webcast at the Barnes & Noble site.

Disney's Enchanted Coming to Nintendo DS This Fall - (DL) (6/21/2007)
Enchanted for Nintendo DS follows the story of Giselle, a princess banished from a fairy tale animated land to modern-day Manhattan. Players take on the roles of Giselle, Prince Edward and Giselle’s trusted chipmunk friend Pip in adventures that span both mythical Andalasia and real-world New York City with film-inspired and original gameplay elements. The game is scheduled for release in conjunction with the film this fall.
