I’m happy to share that these new ornaments will be at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts within the next few weeks. Similar to the character ear hat ornaments released last summer, these new shoe ornaments contain some amazing details. The artwork for these ornaments was created by Disney Design Group artists Cody Reynoldsand Costa Alavezos. Cody designed the majority of the shoes, including the Disney Princesses and other characters like Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse or Mary Poppins. I recently spoke with Costa Alavezos about his experience creating the Disney Villain shoes.

The shoes each measure approximately 3 inches long by 3.5 inches tall. All of them contain a removable ribbon attachment, which is perfect for those interested in displaying them year round.

The Official Disney Parks Blog has announced that starting next week, as a part of Limited Time Magic and The Year of the Ear, two new ear hats will become available, a Strawberry ear hat in Epcot and a Cozy Cone ear hat at Disney California Adventure. Both hats are available starting April 1.

The Official Disney Parks Blog writes pop artist Romero Britto will be releasing pieces at Walt Disney World on March 22 and 23. On March 22, he will be at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom Park from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. He will be at the Art of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace on March 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please note that we will be distributing wristbands to guests who purchase Britto merchandise on the day of the signing and would like to have two items signed.

Disney has restarted a promotion that gives 20% off at certain stores before 1:00 p.m. if you bring in a coupon that you receive automatically when making a purchase at most quick service restaurants within the parks. The coupon prints at the bottom of your receipt (as shown above) and is good before 1:00 p.m. at the following locations:

I recently shared information about the New Fantasyland pin release party we are holding at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort on December 6 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. While no pins will be at Magic Kingdom Park that day, we are releasing a few additional commemorative items to celebrate the largest expansion in the history of Magic Kingdom Park.
