The Grand Floridian Resort, with its Victorian architecture, is the most elegant of all the Disney Resorts. It has a beautiful 5-story lobby, white sand beaches, views of the Magic Kingdom and a coveted location on the Monorail loop.

Resort Layout
The Grand Floridian Resort consists of a few large buildings spread out not too far from each other. Some of the important locations are:

• Main Building: Check in/out, shops, most restaurants and club level rooms.
• Pools: There are two large pools
• Captain's Shipyard: Marina with boat rentals
• Grand Floridian Spa and Health Club: Nearest the Main Building but still a short walk away. Tennis courts also located here.
• Gasparilla Grill and Games: Quick service restaurant and arcade
• Gold Flag Route Boat Launch: Boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom and Polynesian Resort
• Monorail: Boards outside the second floor of the Main Building
• Bus Stop: Single bus stop located in front of the Main Building.

There are 6 buildings that contain the rooms. Other than the Main Building all buildings are a short walk to the amenities, but the resort is not that spread out. The six buildings are:

• Main Building: Contains 3 floors of club level rooms
• Sago Cay and Sugar Loaf Key: Very close to the Captain's Shipyard and Gasparilla Grill and Games
• Conch Key: Very close to the boat transportation and Narcoossee's restaurant
• Boca Chica and Big Pine Key: Very close to one of the pools
