Millennium Mickey: On Top of the World
Mickey Mouse leads the way as the Society’s Membership Gift Sculpture for the Year 2000. The selected scene comes from one of Mickey’s best-loved cartoons “Thru the Mirror,” based on Lewis Carroll’s classic book, “Through the Looking Glass.” Dressed in his signature red shorts, yellow shoes and white gloves, Mickey is shown trotting across the globe - the perfect gesture for the year 2000! “Millennium Mickey: On Top of the World” is offered free with every paid Walt Disney Collectors Society membership.

Animator's Choice: Pinocchio
Walt Disney’s Pinocchio, considered by many to be one of the most technically perfect animated films of all time, is the subject of the first Animators' Choice Sculpture of the new Millennium. The “little puppet made of pine” is shown in a brass cage just as the Blue Fairy teaches him a valuable lesson about honesty. His “wooden” nose is made of pewter, as is the Jiminy Cricket miniature, created in perfect proportion to Pinocchio. Original animator Frank Thomas, whom the Society pays tribute to with this beautiful new piece, selected the unforgettable scene. The sculpture also bears a special backstamp in honor of Pinocchio’s 60th anniversary and comes with a lithograph Model Sheet of original sketches. (Suggested retail price $240 US).

Pretty in Pink
Also available to Members only is an exclusive Society ornament of the lovely Dew Drop Fairy from the “Nutcracker Suite” segment of the original Fantasia. "Pretty in Pink" features shimmery opalescent paint, delicate wings and a tiny wand. The ornament is being released in year 2000 to honor of the 60th anniversary of Fantasia. (Suggested retail price: $59 US).

Enthroned Evil
Among the most popular Society membership benefits is the annual Disney Villains Series. Taking her rightful place as the newest release in the series is the elegantly-icy Evil Queen from Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The vengeful beauty sits upon her throne in all her regal splendor. The stunning new sculpture, “Enthroned Evil,” will be available to Members only for a limited time during summer of 2000 (Suggested retail price: $395 US).

Presenting the Glass Slipper
Another key sculpture is the final piece in the beautiful glass slipper scene from Walt Disney’s Cinderella, one of the most beloved Disney animated films ever created. In celebration of the film’s golden 50th anniversary Cinderella, the evil Stepmother, the jealous Stepsisters and the Grand Duke will all be available this spring as open edition sculptures from the Walt Disney Classics Collection. However, only Walt Disney Collectors Society Members will have the opportunity to complete the scene with “Presenting the Glass Slipper,” a sculpture of the Footman proudly carrying the glass slipper on a pillow (Suggested retail price: $125 US).

Mystery Sculpture
The sixth and final members-only sculpture remains a secret for now. All we can say at this point is that it is based on one of the most suspenseful and frightening chase scenes ever depicted in a Disney animated film. This is one sculpture that will truly raise hairs! The characters from this film have never been depicted before in porcelain sculptures from the Walt Disney Classics Collection. Feedback from collectors indicate that this Disney character is one of the most sought-after and most requested releases which makes it one of the most highly anticipated sculpture releases of all-time from the Walt Disney Classics Collection.
